IF I did this…..had done this ……. have this and “IF”s……?.

Water -Mannapparai, Tamil Nadu, India

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” King James Version, God gave me the following verses in the context of “If”s, from the Book of Life.

“For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;
neither hath he hid his face from him;
but when he cried unto him, he heard.” -Psa-22:24

“IF”s from most Afflicted and Double Blessed “Job”

Job 31:5.    If I have walked with vanity,
or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;

31:6.  Let me be weighed in an even balance,
that God may know mine integrity.

31:7.  If my step hath turned out of the way,
and mine heart walked after mine eyes,
and if any blot hath cleaved to mine hands;

31:8.  Then let me sow, and let another eat;
yea, let my offspring be rooted out.

31:9.      If mine heart have been deceived by a woman,
or  if I have laid wait at my neighbour’s door;

31:10.  Then let my wife grind unto another,
and let others bow down upon her.
31:11.   For this  is an heinous crime;
yea, it  is an iniquity  to be punished by the judges.
31:12.   For it  is a fire  that consumeth to destruction,
and would root out all mine increase.

31:13.   If I did despise the cause of my manservant
or of my maidservant,
when they contended with me;

31:14.   What then shall I do when God riseth up?
and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?
31:15.   Did not he that made me in the womb make him?
and did not one fashion us in the womb?

31:16. If I have withheld the poor from  their desire,
or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;

31:17.   Or have eaten my morsel myself alone,
and the fatherless hath not eaten thereof;
31:18.   (For from my youth he was brought up with me,
as  with a father, and I have guided her from my mother’s womb;)

31:19.   If I have seen any perish for want of clothing,
or any poor without covering;

31:20.   If his loins have not blessed me,
and if he were  not warmed with the fleece of my sheep;

31:21.   If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless,
when I saw my help in the gate:

31:22.  Then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade,
and mine arm be broken from the bone.
23. 31: For destruction from God was a terror to me,
and by reason of his highness I could not endure.

31:24.   If I have made gold my hope,
or have said to the fine gold,
Thou art my confidence;

31:25.   If I rejoiced because my wealth was great,
and because mine hand had gotten much;

31:26.   If I beheld the sun when it shined,
or the moon walking in brightness;

31:27.   And my heart hath been secretly enticed,
or my mouth hath kissed my hand:
31:28.   This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge:
for I should have denied the God that is above.

31:29.   If I rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me,
or lifted up myself when evil found him:

31:30.   Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin
by wishing a curse to his soul.

31:31.   If the men of my tabernacle said not,
Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.

31:32.   The stranger did not lodge in the street:
but I opened my doors to the traveller.

31:33.   If I covered my transgressions as Adam,
by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:

31:34.   Did I fear a great multitude,
or did the contempt of families terrify me,
that I kept silence,
and went not out of the door?
31:35.   Oh that one would hear me!
behold, my desire  is,
that the Almighty would answer me,
and  that mine adversary had written a book.
31:36.   Surely I would take it upon my shoulder,
and bind it  as a crown to me.
31:37.   I would declare unto him the number of my steps;
as a prince would I go near unto him.

31:38.   If my land cry against me,
or that the furrows likewise thereof complain;

31:39.   If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money,
or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:

31:40.   Let thistles grow instead of wheat,
and cockle instead of barley.
The words of Job are ended.

The Hint to the above passage

“And the LORD said unto Satan,
Hast thou considered my servant Job,
that  there is none like him in the earth,
a perfect and an upright man,
one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” – Job 1:8.

Judging and Judgment

Deu {4:1} Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do  them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.

Deu {4:5} Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

Deu {4:8} And what nation  is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments  so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

Deu {4:14} And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.

Deu {4:45} These  are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Moses spake unto the children of Israel, after they came forth out of Egypt,

Deu-5:1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.

Deu-6:1 Now these  are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do  them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

Deu-6:20  And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What  mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?

Deu-7:11 Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.

Deu-8:11 Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

Deu-10:18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

Deu-11:1 Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

Deu-11:32 And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.

Deu {16:18} Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

Deu-16:19 Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

Deu {17:8} If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke,  being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose;

Deu {17:9} And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and enquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:

Deu {17:11} According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee,  to the right hand, nor  to the left.

Deu {24:17} Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger,  nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:

Deu {25:1} If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that  the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.

Deu {26:16} This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Deu {27:19} Cursed  be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Deu {30:16} In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Deu {32:4}  He is the Rock, his work  is perfect: for all his ways  are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right  is he.

Deu {32:41} If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.

Deu {33:10} They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar.

Deu {33:21} And he provided the first part for himself, because there,  in a portion of the lawgiver,  was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.

Defile(th), Abomination Unto . . . and Lie.

I am no preacher, but, am a sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read The Holy Bible, God gave me the following verses in the context of “Defile(th), Abomination and Lie” from the Book of Life (The Holy Bible-kjv).

Defile(th)

(Meaning: befoul, cloud, corrupt, foul, gorge, maculate, stain, sully, taint, tarnish, . . . . . )

Exo-31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it  is holy unto you:
every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death:
for whosoever doeth  any work therein,
that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Num-19:13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead,
and purifieth not himself,
defileth the tabernacle of the LORD;
and that soul shall be cut off from Israel:
because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him,
he shall be unclean;
his uncleanness  is yet upon him.

Num-35:33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye  are:
for blood it defileth the land:
and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein,
but by the blood of him that shed it.

Mat-15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man;
but that which cometh out of the mouth,
this defileth a man.

18. But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart;
and they defile the man.

19. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders,
adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Mat-15:20 These are  the things which defile a man:
but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Mar-7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

21. For from within, out of the heart of men,
proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22. Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit,
lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23. All these evil things come from within,
and defile the man.

Jam-3:6 And the tongue  is a fire, a world of iniquity:
so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body,
and setteth on fire the course of nature;
and it is set on fire of hell.

Rev-21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth,
neither  whatsoever worketh abomination, or  maketh a lie:
but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Abomination Unto . . .

(Meaning: abhorrence, detestation, execration, loathing, odum, . . . . )

Gen-43:32 And they set on for him by himself,

for that  is an abomination unto the Egyptians.

and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

9. When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee,
thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

10. There shall not be found among you
any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire,

or a consulter with familiar spirits,
or a wizard,

and all that do unrighteously,
are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Deu-27:15 Cursed  be the man that maketh  any graven or molten image,

feet that be swift in running to mischief,

the new moons and sabbaths,
the calling of assemblies,
I cannot away with;
it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

Lie Unto

Lev-6:2 If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD,
and lie unto his neighbour in that
which was delivered him to keep,
or in fellowship,
or in a thing taken away by violence,
or hath deceived his neighbour;

Lev-6:3. Or have found that which was lost,
and lieth concerning it,
and sweareth falsely;
in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:
Lev-6:4. Then it shall be, because he hath sinned,
and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away,
or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten,
or that which was delivered him to keep,
or the lost thing which he found,
Lev-6:5. Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely;
he shall even restore it in the principal,
and shall add the fifth part more thereto,
and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth,
in the day of his trespass offering.

2Ki-4:16 And he said, About this season,
according to the time of life,
thou shalt embrace a son.
And she said, Nay, my lord,  thou man of God,
do not lie unto thine handmaid.

Psa-89:35 Once have I sworn by my holiness
that I will not lie unto David.

Jer-27:10 For they prophesy a lie unto you,
to remove you far from your land;
and that I should drive you out,
and ye should perish.

that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:
for they prophesy a lie unto you.

Jer-27:16 Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying,
Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets
that prophesy unto you, saying,
Behold, the vessels of the LORD’S house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon:
for they prophesy a lie unto you.

Jer-29:21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah,
and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah,
which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold,
I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
and he shall slay them before your eyes;

Jer-29:22. And of them shall be taken up a curse
by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon,
saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab,
whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire;
Jer-29:23. Because they have committed villany in Israel,
and have committed adultery with their neighbours’ wives,
and have spoken lying words in my name,
which I have not commanded them; even I know,
and am a witness, saith the LORD.

Eze-21:29 Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee,
to bring thee upon the necks of  them that are slain,
of the wicked, whose day is come,
when their iniquity  shall have an end.

Rom-3:7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded
through my lie unto his glory;
why yet am I also judged as a sinner?

Two-edged Sword / The Armour of God

I am no preacher, but, am a sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read The Holy Bible, God gave me the following words from the Book of Life (The Holy Bible-kjv).

Two-edged Sword

Psalm 149:6      [Let] the high [praises] of God [be] in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

Proverbs 5:4     But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.

Hebrews : 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Rev, 1:16          And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength.

Armour of God

Ephesians 6: 13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19. And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20. For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak
