I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Thoughts” .

Genesis 6:5   And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,
and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Judges 5:15   And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah;
even Issachar, and also Barak:
he was sent on foot into the valley.
For the divisions of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.

1 Chronicles 28:9   And thou, Solomon my son,
know thou the God of thy father,
and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind:
for the LORD searcheth all hearts,
and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts:
if thou seek him,
he will be found of thee;
but if thou forsake him,
he will cast thee off for ever.

1 Chronicles 29:18   O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers,
keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people,
