If any man defile the temple of God,
him shall God destroy;
for the temple of God is holy,

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “temple” from the New Testament (KJV).

Matthew 4:5 Then the devil taketh him
up into the holy city,
and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

Matthew 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law,
how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath,
and are blameless?

Matthew 12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

Matthew 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God,
and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple,
and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers,
and the seats of them that sold doves,

Matthew 21:14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple;
and he healed them.

Matthew 21:15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did,
and the children crying in the temple, and saying,
Hosanna to the son of David;
