I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “rule”.

Genesis 1:16 And God made two great lights;
the greater light to rule the day,
and the lesser light to rule the night:
he made the stars also.

Genesis 1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night,
and to divide the light from the darkness:
and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception;
in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children;
and thy desire shall be to thy husband,
and he shall rule over thee.

Genesis 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?
and if thou doest not well,
sin lieth at the door.
And unto thee shall be his desire,
and thou shalt rule over him.
