I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Iniquity”.


Isaiah 1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity,
a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters:
they have forsaken the LORD,
they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger,
they are gone away backward.

Isaiah 1:13 Bring no more vain oblations;
incense is an abomination unto me;
the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with;
it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

Isaiah 5:18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity,
and sin as it were with a cart rope:

Isaiah 6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth,
and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips;
and thine iniquity is taken away,
and thy sin purged.

Isaiah 13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil,
and the wicked for their iniquity;
and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease,
and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Isaiah 14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers;

and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished,

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray;

and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 57:17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him:

neither remember iniquity for ever:
behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.

Jeremiah 2:5 Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me,
that they are gone far from me,
and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

Jeremiah 2:22 For though thou wash thee with nitre,
and take thee much soap,
yet thine iniquity is marked before me
, saith the Lord GOD.

Jeremiah 3:13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity,
that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God,

they are not hid from my face,
neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.

Ezekiel 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die;

nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life;
the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity;
but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Ezekiel 3:19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness,
nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity;
but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Ezekiel 3:20  Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness,
and commit iniquity,
and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die:
because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin,
and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered;
but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Ezekiel 4:4 Lie thou also upon thy left side,
and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it:
according to the number of the days
that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.

Ezekiel 4:5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity,
according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days:
so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

Ezekiel 4:6 And when thou hast accomplished them,
lie again on thy right side,
and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days:
I have appointed thee each day for a year.

Ezekiel 4:17 That they may want bread and water,
and be astonied one with another,
and consume away for their iniquity.

Ezekiel 7:13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive:
for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return;

Ezekiel 14:3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart,
and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face:
should I be enquired of at all by them?

and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart,
and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face,
and cometh to the prophet;

Ezekiel 14:7 For every one of the house of Israel,
or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel,
which separateth himself from me,
and setteth up his idols in his heart,
and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face,
and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me;
I the LORD will answer him by myself:

Ezekiel 14:10 And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity:
the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him;

Ezekiel 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread,
and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters,
neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

Ezekiel 18:8 He that hath not given forth upon usury,
neither hath taken any increase,
that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity,
hath executed true judgment between man and man,

Ezekiel 18:17 That hath taken off his hand from the poor,
that hath not received usury nor increase,
hath executed my judgments,
hath walked in my statutes;
he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.

Ezekiel 18:18 As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed,
spoiled his brother by violence,
and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.

Ezekiel 18:19 Yet say ye, Why?
doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father?
When the son hath done that which is lawful and right,
and hath kept all my statutes,
and hath done them, he shall surely live.

Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father,
neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son:
the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him,
and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Ezekiel 18:24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness,
and committeth iniquity,
and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live?
All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned:
in his trespass that he hath trespassed,
and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

Ezekiel 18:26 When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness,
and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them;
for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.

Ezekiel 18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel,
every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD.
Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions;
so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

Ezekiel 21:23 And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight,
to them that have sworn oaths:
but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.

Ezekiel 21:24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD;
Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered,
in that your transgressions are discovered,

and blow not the trumpet,

if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way,

but his blood will I require at thine hand.

the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.

neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth:
for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

Zechariah 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him,
saying, Take away the filthy garments from him.
And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee,
and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

Zechariah 3:9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua;
upon one stone shall be seven eyes:
behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts,
and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Malachi 2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth,
and iniquity was not found in his lips:
he walked with me in peace and equity,
and did turn many away from iniquity.
