I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “statutes”.

Genesis 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice,
and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes,
and my laws.

Exodus 15:25 And he cried unto the LORD;
and the LORD shewed him a tree,
which when he had cast into the waters,
the waters were made sweet:
there he made for them a statute and an ordinance,
and there he proved them,

Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken
to the voice of the LORD thy God,
and wilt do that which is right in his sight,
and wilt give ear to his commandments,
and keep all his statutes,
I will put none of these diseases upon thee,

Leviticus 3:17 It shall be a perpetual statute
for your generations throughout all your dwellings,

concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire:

Leviticus 16:29 And this shall be a statute for ever unto you:
that in the seventh month,
on the tenth day of the month,
ye shall afflict your souls,
and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country,
or a stranger that sojourneth among you:

Leviticus 16:34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you,
to make an atonement for the children of Israel

shall Aaron order it from the evening
unto the morning before the LORD continually:

for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD
made by fire by a perpetual statute.

Leviticus 25:18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes,
and keep my judgments, and do them;
and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

Leviticus 26:3 If ye walk in my statutes,
and keep my commandments, and do them;

Leviticus 26:15 And if ye shall despise my statutes,
or if your soul abhor my judgments,
so that ye will not do all my commandments,

Leviticus 26:46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws,
which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel
in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

Numbers 18:11 And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift,
with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel:
I have given them unto thee,
and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever:
every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

Numbers 18:19 All the heave offerings of the holy things,
which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee,
and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever:
it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD
unto thee and to thy seed with thee.

as the LORD commanded Moses.

which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live,

even as the LORD my God commanded me,
that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

Deuteronomy 4:6 Keep therefore and do them;
for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations,

Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

Deuteronomy 4:8 And what nation is there so great,
that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law,
which I set before you this day?

Ezekiel 20:11 And I gave them my statutes,
and shewed them my judgments,
which if a man do, he shall even live in them.

Ezekiel 20:13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness:
they walked not in my statutes,
and they despised my judgments,
which if a man do, he shall even live in them;
and my sabbaths they greatly polluted:
then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them
in the wilderness, to consume them.

Ezekiel 20:16 Because they despised my judgments,
and walked not in my statutes,
but polluted my sabbaths:
for their heart went after their idols.

Ezekiel 20:18 But I said unto their children in the wilderness,
Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers,
neither observe their judgments,
nor defile yourselves with their idols:

Ezekiel 20:24 Because they had not executed my judgments,
but had despised my statutes,
and had polluted my sabbaths,
and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols.

Ezekiel 20:25 Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good,
and judgments whereby they should not live;

Ezekiel 33:15 If the wicked restore the pledge,
give again that he had robbed,
walk in the statutes of life,
without committing iniquity;
he shall surely live,
he shall not die.

Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you,
and cause you to walk in my statutes,
