I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “perceived”.

Genesis 19:33 And they made their father drink wine that night:
and the firstborn went in,
and lay with her father;
and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

Genesis 19:35 And they made their father drink wine that night also:
and the younger arose,
and lay with him;
and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

Judges 6:22 And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the LORD,
