SpoiledFor the LORD will plead their cause,
spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
– Proverbs 22:23

Surprisingly, only one verse found
in the New Testament on this subject.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “spoiled”.

Genesis 34:27 The sons of Jacob came upon the slain,
and spoiled the city,
because they had defiled their sister.

Genesis 34:29 And all their wealth,
and all their little ones,
and their wives took they captive,
and spoiled even all that was in the house.

Exodus 12:36 And the LORD gave the people favour
in the sight of the Egyptians,
so that they lent unto them such things as they required.
And they spoiled the Egyptians.

Deuteronomy 28:29 And thou shalt grope at noonday,
as the blind gropeth in darkness,
and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways:
and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore,
and no man shall save thee.

Judges 2:14 And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel,
and he delivered them
into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them,
and he sold them
into the hands of their enemies round about,
so that they could not any longer
stand before their enemies.

Jeremiah 2:14 Is Israel a servant?
