I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “lament…ed…ation”.

Genesis 50:10 And they came to the threshingfloor of Atad,
which is beyond Jordan,
and there they mourned
with a great and very sore lamentation:
and he made a mourning for his father seven days.

Judges 11:40 That the daughters of Israel went yearly
to lament the daughter of Jephthah
the Gileadite four days in a year.

1 Samuel 6:19 And he smote the men of Bethshemesh,
because they had looked into the ark of the LORD,
even he smote of the people
fifty thousand and threescore and ten men:
and the people lamented,
because the LORD had smitten
many of the people with a great slaughter.

1 Samuel 7:2 And it came to pass,
while the ark abode in Kirjathjearim,
that the time was long;
for it was twenty years:
