Proverbs 27:9 Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart:
so doth the sweetness of a man’s friend
by hearty counsel.

Proverbs 27:11 My son, be wise,
and make my heart glad,
that I may answer him that reproacheth me.

Proverbs 27:19 As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man.

Proverbs 28:14 Happy is the man that feareth alway:
but he that hardeneth his heart
shall fall into mischief.

Proverbs 28:25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife:
but he that putteth his trust
in the LORD shall be made fat.

Proverbs 28:26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool:
but whoso walketh wisely,
he shall be delivered.

Proverbs 31:6 Give strong drink unto him
that is ready to perish,
and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

Proverbs 31:11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her,
so that he shall have no need of spoil.

Ecclesiastes 1:13 And I gave my heart to seek
and search out by wisdom concerning
all things that are done under heaven:
this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man
to be exercised therewith.

Ecclesiastes 1:16 I communed with mine own heart, saying,
Lo, I am come to great estate,
and have gotten more wisdom than all they
that have been before me in Jerusalem:
yea, my heart had great experience
of wisdom and knowledge.

Ecclesiastes 1:17 And I gave my heart to know wisdom,
and to know madness and folly:
I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.

Ecclesiastes 2:1 I said in mine heart, Go to now,
I will prove thee with mirth,
therefore enjoy pleasure:
and, behold, this also is vanity.

Ecclesiastes 2:3 I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine,
yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom;
and to lay hold on folly,
till I might see what was that good for the sons of men,
which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.

Ecclesiastes 2:10 And whatsoever mine eyes desired
I kept not from them,
I withheld not my heart from any joy;
for my heart rejoiced in all my labour:
and this was my portion of all my labour.

Ecclesiastes 2:15 Then said I in my heart,
As it happeneth to the fool,
so it happeneth even to me;
and why was I then more wise?
Then I said in my heart,
that this also is vanity.

Ecclesiastes 2:20 Therefore I went about to cause
my heart to despair of all the labour
which I took under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 2:22 For what hath man of all his labour,
and of the vexation of his heart,
wherein he hath laboured under the sun?

Ecclesiastes 2:23 For all his days are sorrows,
and his travail grief; yea,
his heart taketh not rest in the night.
This is also vanity.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time:
also he hath set the world in their heart,
so that no man can find out the work
that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Ecclesiastes 3:17 I said in mine heart,
God shall judge the righteous and the wicked:
for there is a time there
for every purpose and for every work.

Ecclesiastes 3:18 I said in mine heart concerning
the estate of the sons of men,
that God might manifest them,
and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

Ecclesiastes 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth,
and let not thine heart be hasty
to utter any thing before God:
for God is in heaven,
and thou upon earth:
therefore let thy words be few.

Ecclesiastes 5:20 For he shall not much remember the days of his life;
because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.

Ecclesiastes 7:2 It is better to go to the house of mourning,
than to go to the house of feasting:
for that is the end of all men;
and the living will lay it to his heart.

Ecclesiastes 7:3 Sorrow is better than laughter:
for by the sadness of the countenance
the heart is made better.

Ecclesiastes 7:4 The heart of the wise
is in the house of mourning;
but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.

Ecclesiastes 7:7 Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad;
and a gift destroyeth the heart.

Ecclesiastes 7:22 For oftentimes also
thine own heart knoweth
that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others.

Ecclesiastes 7:25 I applied mine heart to know,
and to search,
and to seek out wisdom,
and the reason of things,
and to know the wickedness of folly,
even of foolishness and madness:

Ecclesiastes 7:26 And I find more bitter than death the woman,
whose heart is snares and nets,
and her hands as bands:
whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her;
but the sinner shall be taken by her.

Ecclesiastes 8:5 Whoso keepeth the commandment
shall feel no evil thing:
and a wise man’s heart discerneth
both time and judgment.

Ecclesiastes 8:9 All this have I seen,
and applied my heart unto every work
that is done under the sun:
there is a time wherein one man ruleth
over another to his own hurt.

Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work
is not executed speedily,
therefore the heart of the sons of men
is fully set in them to do evil.

Ecclesiastes 8:16 When I applied mine heart to know wisdom,
and to see the business that is done upon the earth:
(for also there is that neither day
nor night seeth sleep with his eyes:)

Ecclesiastes 9:1 For all this I considered in my heart
even to declare all this, that the righteous,
and the wise,
and their works, are in the hand of God:
no man knoweth either love
or hatred by all that is before them.

Ecclesiastes 9:3 This is an evil among all things
that are done under the sun,
that there is one event unto all: yea,
also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil,
and madness is in their heart while they live,
and after that they go to the dead.

Ecclesiastes 9:7 Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy,
and drink thy wine with a merry heart;
for God now accepteth thy works.

Ecclesiastes 10:2 A wise man’s heart is at his right hand;
but a fool’s heart at his left.

Ecclesiastes 11:9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth;
and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth,
and walk in the ways of thine heart,
and in the sight of thine eyes:
but know thou, that for all these things
God will bring thee into judgment.

Ecclesiastes 11:10 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart,
and put away evil from thy flesh:
for childhood and youth are vanity.

Song of Solomon 3:11 Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion,
and behold king Solomon with the crown
wherewith his mother crowned him
in the day of his espousals,
and in the day of the gladness of his heart.

Song of Solomon 4:9 Thou hast ravished my heart,
my sister, my spouse;
thou hast ravished my heart
with one of thine eyes,
with one chain of thy neck.

Song of Solomon 5:2 I sleep, but my heart waketh:
it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying,
Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled:
for my head is filled with dew,
and my locks with the drops of the night.

Song of Solomon 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart,
as a seal upon thine arm:
for love is strong as death;
jealousy is cruel as the grave:
the coals thereof are coals of fire,
which hath a most vehement flame.

‘clean’….. from ‘Pentateuch’ of the Old Testament (KJV)

background courtesy: http://www.artbible.net/firstestament_en.htmlYe shall therefore put difference
between clean beasts and unclean,
and between unclean fowls and clean:
and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast,
or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing
that creepeth on the ground,
which I have separated from you as unclean.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “clean” from ‘Pentateuch’ of the Old Testament (KJV).

Genesis 7:2 Of every clean beast
thou shalt take to thee by sevens,
the male and his female:
and of beasts that are not clean by two,
the male and his female.

Genesis 7:8 Of clean beasts,
and of beasts that are not clean,
and of fowls,
and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,

Genesis 8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD;
and took of every clean beast,
and of every clean fowl,
and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

Genesis 35:2 Then Jacob said unto his household,
and to all that were with him,
Put away the strange gods that are among you,
and be clean, and change your garments:

Exodus 29:36 And thou shalt offer every day a bullock
for a sin offering for atonement:
and thou shalt cleanse the altar,
when thou hast made an atonement for it,
and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.

Leviticus 4:12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth
without the camp unto a clean place,
where the ashes are poured out,
and burn him on the wood with fire:
where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

Leviticus 6:11 And he shall put off his garments,
and put on other garments,
and carry forth the ashes
without the camp unto a clean place.

Leviticus 7:19 And the flesh that toucheth
any unclean thing shall not be eaten;
it shall be burnt with fire:
and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.

Leviticus 10:10 And that ye may put difference
between holy and unholy,
and between unclean and clean;

Leviticus 10:14 And the wave breast
and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place;
thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee:
for they be thy due, and thy sons’ due,
which are given out of the sacrifices
of peace offerings of the children of Israel.

Leviticus 11:32 And upon whatsoever any of them,
when they are dead, doth fall,
it shall be unclean;
whether it be any vessel of wood,
or raiment, or skin, or sack,
whatsoever vessel it be,
wherein any work is done,
it must be put into water,
and it shall be unclean until the even;
so it shall be cleansed.

Leviticus 11:36 Nevertheless a fountain or pit,
wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean:
but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.

Leviticus 11:37 And if any part of their carcase
fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown,
it shall be clean.

Leviticus 11:47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean,
and between the beast that may be eaten
and the beast that may not be eaten.

Leviticus 12:7 Who shall offer it before the LORD,
and make an atonement for her;
and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood.
This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female.

Leviticus 12:8 And if she be not able to bring a lamb,
then she shall bring two turtles,
or two young pigeons;
the one for the burnt offering,
and the other for a sin offering:
and the priest shall make an atonement for her,
and she shall be clean.

Leviticus 13:6 And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day:
and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark,
and the plague spread not in the skin,
the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab:
and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

Leviticus 13:7 But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin,
after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing,
he shall be seen of the priest again:

Leviticus 13:13 Then the priest shall consider:
and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh,
he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague:
it is all turned white: he is clean.

Leviticus 13:17 And the priest shall see him:
and, behold, if the plague be turned into white;
then the priest shall pronounce him clean
that hath the plague: he is clean.

Leviticus 13:23 But if the bright spot stay in his place,
and spread not, it is a burning boil;
and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

Leviticus 13:28 And if the bright spot stay in his place,
and spread not in the skin,
but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning,
and the priest shall pronounce him clean:
for it is an inflammation of the burning.

Leviticus 13:34 And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall:
and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin,
nor be in sight deeper than the skin;
then the priest shall pronounce him clean:
and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

Leviticus 13:35 But if the scall spread much
in the skin after his cleansing;

Leviticus 13:37 But if the scall be in his sight at a stay,
and that there is black hair grown up therein;
the scall is healed, he is clean:
and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

Leviticus 13:39 Then the priest shall look:
and, behold, if the bright spots
in the skin of their flesh be darkish white;
it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.

Leviticus 13:40 And the man whose hair is fallen off his head,
he is bald; yet is he clean.

Leviticus 13:41 And he that hath his hair fallen off
from the part of his head toward his face,
he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.

Leviticus 13:58 And the garment, either warp, or woof,
or whatsoever thing of skin it be,
which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them,
then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.

Leviticus 13:59 This is the law of the plague of leprosy
in a garment of woollen or linen,
either in the warp, or woof,
or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean,
or to pronounce it unclean.

Leviticus 14:2 This shall be the law of the leper
in the day of his cleansing:
He shall be brought unto the priest:

Leviticus 14:4 Then shall the priest command to take for him
that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean,
and cedar wood,
and scarlet,
and hyssop:

Leviticus 14:7 And he shall sprinkle upon him
that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times,
and shall pronounce him clean,
and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

Leviticus 14:8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes,
and shave off all his hair,
and wash himself in water, that he may be clean:
and after that he shall come into the camp,
and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

Leviticus 14:9 But it shall be on the seventh day,
that he shall shave all his hair off his head
and his beard and his eyebrows,
even all his hair he shall shave off:
and he shall wash his clothes,
also he shall wash his flesh in water,
and he shall be clean.

Leviticus 14:11 And the priest that maketh him clean
shall present the man that is to be made clean,
and those things, before the LORD,
at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

Leviticus 14:14 And the priest shall take
some of the blood of the trespass offering,
and the priest shall put it upon
the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed,
and upon the thumb of his right hand,
and upon the great toe of his right foot:

Leviticus 14:17 And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand
shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him
that is to be cleansed,
and upon the thumb of his right hand,
and upon the great toe of his right foot,
upon the blood of the trespass offering:

Leviticus 14:18 And the remnant of the oil that is
in the priest’s hand he shall pour
upon the head of him that is to be cleansed:
and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.

Leviticus 14:19 And the priest shall offer the sin offering,
and make an atonement for him
that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness;
and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

Leviticus 14:20 And the priest shall offer the burnt offering
and the meat offering upon the altar:
and the priest shall make an atonement for him,
and he shall be clean.

Leviticus 14:23 And he shall bring them
on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest,
unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.

Leviticus 14:25 And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering,
and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering,
and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed,
and upon the thumb of his right hand,
and upon the great toe of his right foot:

Leviticus 14:28 And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand
upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed,
and upon the thumb of his right hand,
and upon the great toe of his right foot,
upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:

Leviticus 14:29 And the rest of the oil that is
in the priest’s hand he shall put upon the head of him
that is to be cleansed,
to make an atonement for him before the LORD.

Leviticus 14:31 Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering,
and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering:
and the priest shall make an atonement
for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.

Leviticus 14:32 This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy,
whose hand is not able to get that
which pertaineth to his cleansing.

Leviticus 14:48 And if the priest shall come in,
and look upon it,
and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house,
after the house was plaistered:
then the priest shall pronounce the house clean,
because the plague is healed.

Leviticus 14:49 And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds,
and cedar wood,
and scarlet,
and hyssop:

Leviticus 14:52 And he shall cleanse the house
with the blood of the bird,
and with the running water,
and with the living bird,
and with the cedar wood,
and with the hyssop,
and with the scarlet:

Leviticus 14:53 But he shall let go the living bird
out of the city into the open fields,
and make an atonement for the house:
and it shall be clean.

Leviticus 14:57 To teach when it is unclean,
and when it is clean:
this is the law of leprosy.

Leviticus 15:8 And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean;
then he shall wash his clothes,
and bathe himself in water,
and be unclean until the even.

Leviticus 15:13 And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue;
then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing,
and wash his clothes,
and bathe his flesh in running water,
and shall be clean.

Leviticus 15:28 But if she be cleansed of her issue,
then she shall number to herself seven days,
and after that she shall be clean.

Leviticus 16:19 And he shall sprinkle of the blood
upon it with his finger seven times,
and cleanse it,
and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

Leviticus 16:30 For on that day shall the priest
make an atonement for you,
to cleanse you,
that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.

Leviticus 17:15 And every soul that eateth that which died of itself,
or that which was torn with beasts,
whether it be one of your own country,
or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes,
and bathe himself in water,
and be unclean until the even:
then shall he be clean.

Leviticus 20:25 Ye shall therefore put difference
between clean beasts and unclean,
and between unclean fowls and clean:
and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast,
or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing
that creepeth on the ground,
which I have separated from you as unclean.

Leviticus 22:4 What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper,
or hath a running issue;
he shall not eat of the holy things,
until he be clean.
And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean
by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;

Leviticus 22:7 And when the sun is down, he shall be clean,
and shall afterward eat of the holy things;
because it is his food.

Leviticus 23:22 And when ye reap the harvest of your land,
thou shalt not make clean riddance
of the corners of thy field when thou reapest,
neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest:
thou shalt leave them unto the poor,
and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.

Numbers 5:28 And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean;
then she shall be free,
and shall conceive seed.

Numbers 6:9 And if any man die very suddenly by him,
and he hath defiled the head of his consecration;
then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing,
on the seventh day shall he shave it.

Numbers 8:6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel,
and cleanse them.

Numbers 8:7 And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them:
Sprinkle water of purifying upon them,
and let them shave all their flesh,
and let them wash their clothes,
and so make themselves clean.

Numbers 8:15 And after that shall the Levites go
in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
and thou shalt cleanse them,
and offer them for an offering.

Numbers 8:21 And the Levites were purified,
and they washed their clothes;
and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD;
and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.

Numbers 9:13 But the man that is clean,
and is not in a journey,
and forbeareth to keep the passover,
even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people:
because he brought not the offering of the LORD
in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

Numbers 18:11 And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift,
with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel:
I have given them unto thee,
and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee,
by a statute for ever:
every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

Numbers 18:13 And whatsoever is first ripe in the land,
which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine;
every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it.

Numbers 19:9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer,
and lay them up without the camp in a clean place,
and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.

Numbers 19:12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day,
and on the seventh day he shall be clean:
but if he purify not himself the third day,
then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

Numbers 19:18 And a clean person shall take hyssop,
and dip it in the water,
and sprinkle it upon the tent,
and upon all the vessels,
and upon the persons that were there,
and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:

Numbers 19:19 And the clean person shall sprinkle
upon the unclean on the third day,
and on the seventh day:
and on the seventh day he shall purify himself,
and wash his clothes,
and bathe himself in water,
and shall be clean at even.

Numbers 31:23 Every thing that may abide the fire,
ye shall make it go through the fire,
and it shall be clean: nevertheless
it shall be purified with the water of separation:
and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water.

Numbers 31:24 And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day,
and ye shall be clean,
and afterward ye shall come into the camp.

Numbers 35:33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are:
for blood it defileth the land:

but by the blood of him that shed it.

Deuteronomy 12:15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates,
whatsoever thy soul lusteth after,
according to the blessing of the LORD thy God
which he hath given thee:
the unclean and the clean may eat thereof,
as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.

Deuteronomy 12:22 Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten,
so thou shalt eat them:

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “commandment(s)”.

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break
one of these least commandments,
and shall teach men so,
he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
but whosoever shall do and teach them,
the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 8:18 Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him,
he gave commandment
to depart unto the other side.

Mat 15:3 But he answered and said unto them,
Why do ye also transgress
the commandment of God by your tradition?

Mat 15:6 And honour not his father or his mother,
he shall be free.
Thus have ye made
the commandment of God of none effect
by your tradition.

Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me,
teaching for doctrines
the commandments of men.

Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good?
there is none good but one, that is, God:
but if thou wilt enter into life,
keep the commandments.

Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37. Jesus said unto him,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind.

Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.

39. And the second  is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Mat 22:40 On these two commandments
hang all the law and the prophets.

Mar 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me,
teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Mar 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God,
ye hold the tradition of men,
as the washing of pots and cups:
and many other such like things ye do.

Mar 7:9 And he said unto them,
Full well ye reject the commandment of God,
that ye may keep your own tradition.

Mar 10:19 Thou knowest the commandments,
Do not commit adultery,
Do not kill,
Do not steal, Do not bear false witness,
Defraud not,
Honour thy father and mother.

Mar 12:28 And one of the scribes came,
and having heard them reasoning together,
and perceiving that
he had answered them well, asked him,
Which is the first commandment of all?

Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him,
The first of all the commandments is,
Hear, O Israel;
The Lord our God is one Lord:

Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind,
and with all thy strength:
this is the first commandment.

Mar 12:31 And the second is like, namely this,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
There is none other commandment greater than these.

Luk 1:6 And they were both righteous before God,
walking in all the commandments
and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

Luk 15:29 And he answering said to his father, Lo,
these many years do I serve thee,
neither transgressed I
at any time thy commandment:
and yet thou never gavest me a kid,
that I might make merry with my friends:

Luk 18:20 Thou knowest the commandments,
Do not commit adultery,
Do not kill,
Do not steal,
Do not bear false witness,
Honour thy father and thy mother.

Luk 23:56 And they returned,
and prepared spices and ointments;
and rested the sabbath day
according to the commandment.

Joh 10:18 No man taketh it from me,
but I lay it down of myself.
I have power to lay it down,
and I have power to take it again.
This commandment have I received of my Father.

Joh 11:57 Now both the chief priests
and the Pharisees had given a commandment,
that, if any man knew where he were,
