‘office’….. mentioned in the Holy Bible (KJV)

OfficeAnd they shall not come near unto me,
to do the office of a priest unto me,
nor to come near to any of my holy things,
in the most holy place:
but they shall bear their shame,

and their abominations
which they have committed. – Ezekiel 44:13

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “office”.

Exodus 1:16 And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife
to the Hebrew women,
and see them upon the stools;
if it be a son, then ye shall kill him:
but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

Exodus 29:9 And thou shalt gird them with girdles,
Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them:
and the priest’s office shall be theirs
for a perpetual statute:
and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.

Leviticus 16:32 And the priest, whom he shall anoint,
and whom he shall consecrate to minister
in the priest’s office in his father’s stead,
shall make the atonement,
and shall put on the linen clothes,
even the holy garments:

Numbers 3:4 And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD,
when they offered strange fire before the LORD,
in the wilderness of Sinai,
and they had no children:
and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered
in the priest’s office in the sight of Aaron their father.

Numbers 4:16 And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest
pertaineth the oil for the light,
and the sweet incense,
and the daily meat offering,
and the anointing oil,
and the oversight of all the tabernacle,
and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary,
and in the vessels thereof.

Numbers 18:7 Therefore thou and thy sons
with thee shall keep your priest’s
for every thing of the altar,
and within the vail;
and ye shall serve:
I have given your priest’s office
unto you as a service of gift:
and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

Deuteronomy 10:6 And the children of Israel took their journey
from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera:
there Aaron died, and there he was buried;
and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his stead.

I Chronicles 6:10 And Johanan begat Azariah,
(he it is that executed the priest’s office in the temple
that Solomon built in Jerusalem:)

I Chronicles 6:32 And they ministered before the dwelling place of
the tabernacle of the congregation with singing,
until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem:
and then they waited on their office according to their order.

I Chronicles 9:31 And Mattithiah, one of the Levites,
who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite,
had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.

I Chronicles 23:28 Because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron
for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts,
and in the chambers,
and in the purifying of all holy things,
and the work of the service of the house of God;

II Chronicles 11:14 For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession,
and came to Judah and Jerusalem:
for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off
from executing the priest’s office unto the LORD:

II Chronicles 24:11 Now it came to pass,
that at what time the chest was brought unto the king’s office
by the hand of the Levites,
and when they saw that there was much money,
the king’s scribe and the high priest’s officer came
and emptied the chest, and took it,
and carried it to his place again.
Thus they did day by day,
and gathered money in abundance.

II Chronicles 31:18 And to the genealogy of all their little ones,
their wives, and their sons, and their daughters,
through all the congregation:
for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness:

Nehemiah 13:13 And I made treasurers over the treasuries,
Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe,
and of the Levites, Pedaiah:
and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur,
the son of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful,
and their office was to distribute unto their brethren.

Ezekiel 44:13 And they shall not come near unto me,
to do the office of a priest unto me,
nor to come near to any of my holy things,
in the most holy place:
but they shall bear their shame,
and their abominations which they have committed.

Luke 1:8 And it came to pass,
that while he executed the priest’s office
before God in the order of his course,

I Timothy 3:1 This is a true saying,
If a man desire the office of a bishop,
he desireth a good work.

I Timothy 3:10 And let these also first be proved;
then let them use the office of a deacon,
being found blameless.

I Timothy 3:13 For they that have used the office of a deacon
well purchase to themselves a good degree,
and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi,
who receive the office of the priesthood,
have a commandment to take
tithes of the people according to the law,
that is, of their brethren,
though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
