‘naked…’….. from the New Testament (KJV)

NakedBehold, I come as a thief.
Blessed is he that watcheth,
and keepeth his garments,
lest he walk naked,
and they see his shame. – Rev 16:15

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “naked…ness…” from the New Testament.

Mat 25:36 Naked,
and ye clothed me:
I was sick,
and ye visited me:
I was in prison,
and ye came unto me.

Mat 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger,
and took thee in? or naked,
and clothed thee?

Mat 25:43 I was a stranger,
and ye took me not in:
naked, and ye clothed me not:

sick, and in prison,
and ye visited me not.

Mat 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord,
when saw we thee an hungred,
or athirst,
or a stranger,
or naked,
or sick,
or in prison,
and did not minister unto thee?

Mar 14:51 And there followed him a certain young man,
having a linen cloth cast about his naked body;
and the young men laid hold on him:

Mar 14:52 And he left the linen cloth,
and fled from them naked.

Joh 21:7 Therefore that disciple
whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter,
It is the Lord.
Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord,
he girt his fisher’s coat unto him,
(for he was naked,)
and did cast himself into the sea.

Act 19:16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them,
and overcame them,
and prevailed against them,
so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation,
or distress,
or persecution,
or famine,
or nakedness,
or peril,
or sword?

1Co 4:11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger,
and thirst,
and are naked,
and are buffeted,
and have no certain dwellingplace;

12. And labour, working with our own hands:
being reviled, we bless;
being persecuted, we suffer it:
13. Being defamed, we intreat:
we are made as the filth of the world,
and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

2Co 5:3 If so be that being clothed
we shall not be found naked.

2Co 11:27 In weariness and painfulness,
in watchings often,
in hunger and thirst,
in fastings often,
in cold and nakedness.

Heb 4:13 Neither is there any creature
that is not manifest in his sight:
but all things are naked
and opened unto the eyes of him
with whom we have to do.

Jam 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked,
and destitute of daily food,

16. And one of you say unto them,
Depart in peace, be  ye warmed and filled;
notwithstanding ye give them not those things
which are needful to the body;
what  doth it profit?

Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich,
and increased with goods,
and have need of nothing;
and knowest not that thou art wretched,
and miserable,
and poor,
and blind,
and naked:

Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire,
that thou mayest be rich;
and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed,
and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear;
and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve,
that thou mayest see.

Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief.
Blessed is he that watcheth,
and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked,
and they see his shame.

Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast,
these shall hate the whore,
and shall make her desolate and naked,
and shall eat her flesh,
and burn her with fire.
