I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “friends”.

Gen 26:26 Then Abimelech went to him from Gerar,
and Ahuzzath one of his friends,
and Phichol the chief captain of his army.

1Sa 30:26 And when David came to Ziklag,
he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah,
even to his friends, saying,
Behold a present for you of the spoil of the enemies of the LORD;
