I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “great” from the prophets ‘Hosea’ till ‘Malachi’ in the Holy Bible (KJV).

Hos 1:2 The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea.
And the LORD said to Hosea, Go,
take unto thee a wife of whoredoms
and children of whoredoms:
for the land hath committed great whoredom,
departing from the LORD.

Hos 1:11 Then shall the children of Judah
and the children of Israel be gathered together,
and appoint themselves one head,
and they shall come up out of the land:
for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

Hos 8:12 I have written to him the great things of my law,
but they were counted as a strange thing.

Hos 9:7 The days of visitation are come,
the days of recompence are come;
Israel shall know it:
the prophet is a fool,
the spiritual man is mad,
for the multitude of thine iniquity,
and the great hatred.

because of your great wickedness:
in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.

Hos 13:5 I did know thee in the wilderness,
in the land of great drought.

and without number,
whose teeth are the teeth of a lion,
and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.

Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess,
a day of clouds and of thick darkness,
as the morning spread upon the mountains:
a great people and a strong;
there hath not been ever the like,
neither shall be any more after it,
even to the years of many generations.

Joe 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army:
for his camp is very great:
for he is strong that executeth his word:
for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible;
and who can abide it?

Joe 2:13 And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the LORD your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger,
and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil.

Joe 2:20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army,
and will drive him into a land barren and desolate,
with his face toward the east sea,
and his hinder part toward the utmost sea,
and his stink shall come up,
and his ill savour shall come up,
because he hath done great things.

Joe 2:21 Fear not, O land;
be glad and rejoice:
for the LORD will do great things.

Joe 2:25 And I will restore to you the years
that the locust hath eaten,
the cankerworm,

and the palmerworm,
my great army which I sent among you.

and the moon into blood,
before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying,

and of great kindness,
