I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “your father”.

Gen 31:5 And said unto them, I see your father‘s countenance,
that it is not toward me as before;
but the God of my father hath been with me.

Gen 31:6 And ye know that with all my power
I have served your father.

Gen 31:7 And your father hath deceived me,
and changed my wages ten times;
but God suffered him not to hurt me.

Gen 31:9 Thus God hath taken away the cattle of your father,
and given them to me.

Gen 31:29 It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt:
but the God of your father spake unto me yesternight,
saying, Take thou heed that
thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.

Gen 43:7 And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state,
and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive?
have ye another brother?
and we told him according to the tenor of these words:
could we certainly know that he would say,
Bring your brother down?

Gen 43:23 And he said, Peace be to you, fear not:
your God, and the God of your father,
hath given you treasure in your sacks:
I had your money.
And he brought Simeon out unto them.

Gen 43:27 And he asked them of their welfare, and said,
Is your father well, the old man of whom ye spake?
Is he yet alive?

Gen 44:17 And he said, God forbid that I should do so:
but the man in whose hand the cup is found,

and as for you, get you up in peace unto your father.

Exo 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses,

The LORD God of your fathers,
the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac,
and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you:
this is my name for ever,
and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Num 32:8 Thus did your fathers,
when I sent them from Kadeshbarnea to see the land.

Num 32:14 And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers’ stead,
an increase of sinful men,
to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.

Num 33:54 And ye shall divide the land by lot
for an inheritance among your families:
and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance,
and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance:
every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth;

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father,
