I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “gathereth”.

Num 19:10 And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer
shall wash his clothes,
and be unclean until the even:
and it shall be unto the children of Israel,
and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them,
for a statute for ever.

Psa 33:7 He gathereth the waters of the sea
together as an heap:
he layeth up the depth in storehouses.

Psa 41:6 And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity:
his heart gathereth iniquity to itself;
when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.

Psa 147:2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem:
he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

Pro 6:8 Provideth her meat in the summer,
and gathereth her food in the harvest.

Pro 10:5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son:
but he that sleepeth in harvest
is a son that causeth shame.

Pro 13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:
but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.

Isa 10:14 And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people:
and as one gathereth eggs that are left,
have I gathered all the earth;
and there was none that moved the wing,
or opened the mouth, or peeped.

Isa 17:5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn,
and reapeth the ears with his arm;
and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.

Isa 56:8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith,
Yet will I gather others to him,
beside those that are gathered unto him.

Nah 3:18 Thy shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria:
thy nobles shall dwell in the dust:
thy people is scattered upon the mountains,
and no man gathereth them.

Hab 2:5 Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine,
he is a proud man,
neither keepeth at home,
who enlargeth his desire as hell,
and is as death,
and cannot be satisfied,
but gathereth unto him all nations,
and heapeth unto him all people:

Mat 12:30 He that is not with me is against me;
and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

Mat 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets,
and stonest them which are sent unto thee,
how often would I have gathered thy children together,
even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings,
and ye would not!

Luk 11:23 He that is not with me is against me:
and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

Joh 4:36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages,
and gathereth fruit unto life eternal:
that both he that soweth
and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
