HebrewAre they Hebrews? so am I.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Hebrew”.

The Hebrews are “sons of Eber” (10:21). (2.) Others trace the name of a Hebrew root-word signifying “to pass over,” and hence regard it as meaning “the man who passed over,” viz., the Euphrates; or to the Hebrew word meaning “the region” or “country beyond,” viz., the land of Chaldea.

Gen 14:13 And there came one that had escaped,
and told Abram the Hebrew;
for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite,
brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner:
and these were confederate with Abram.

Gen 39:14 That she called unto the men of her house,
and spake unto them, saying, See,
he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us;
he came in unto me to lie with me,
and I cried with a loud voice:

that he went out unto his brethren,
and looked on their burdens:
and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew,
one of his brethren.

two men of the Hebrews strove together:
and he said to him that did the wrong,
Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?

Exo 3:18 And they shall hearken to thy voice:
and thou shalt come,
thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt,
and ye shall say unto him,
The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us:
and now let us go, we beseech thee,
three days’ journey into the wilderness,
that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.

Exo 5:3 And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us:
let us go, we pray thee,
three days’ journey into the desert,
and sacrifice unto the LORD our God;
lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

Exo 7:16 And thou shalt say unto him,
The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying,
Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness:
