I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “face”.

Mat 6:16 Moreover when ye fast,
be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance:
for they disfigure their faces,
that they may appear unto men to fast.
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Mat 6:17 But thou, when thou fastest,
anoint thine head,
and wash thy face;

Mat 11:10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold,
I send my messenger before thy face,
which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Mat 16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day:
for the sky is red and lowring.
O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky;
but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

Mat 17:2 And was transfigured before them:
and his face did shine as the sun,
and his raiment was white as the light.
