I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “consulted”.

1 Kings 12:6 And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men,
that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived,
and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people?

1 Kings 12:8 But he forsook the counsel of the old men,
which they had given him,
and consulted with the young men
that were grown up with him,
and which stood before him:

1 Chronicles 13:1 And David consulted with the captains
of thousands and hundreds,
and with every leader.

2 Chronicles 20:21 And when he had consulted with the people,
he appointed singers unto the LORD,
and that should praise the beauty of holiness,
as they went out before the army,
and to say, Praise the LORD;
for his mercy endureth for ever.

Nehemiah 5:7 Then I consulted with myself,
and I rebuked the nobles,
and the rulers,
and said unto them,
Ye exact usury,
every one of his brother.
And I set a great assembly against them.

Psalms 83:3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people,
and consulted against thy hidden ones.

Psalms 83:5 For they have consulted together with one consent:
they are confederate against thee:

Ezekiel 21:21 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way,
at the head of the two ways,
to use divination: he made his arrows bright,
he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.

Daniel 6:7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors,
and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains,
have consulted together to establish a royal statute,
and to make a firm decree,
that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God
or man for thirty days, save of thee,
O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

Micah 6:5   O my people, remember now
what Balak king of Moab consulted,
and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal;
that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.

Habakkuk 2:10 Thou hast consulted shame to thy house
by cutting off many people,
and hast sinned against thy soul.

Matthew 26:4 And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty,
and kill him.

John 12:10 But the chief priests consulted
that they might put Lazarus also to death;
11.   Because that by reason of him
many of the Jews went away,
and believed on Jesus.
