I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “remembrance”.

Exodus 17:14 And the LORD said unto Moses,
Write this for a memorial in a book,
and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua:
for I will utterly put out
the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

Numbers 5:15 Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest,
and he shall bring her offering for her,
the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal;
he shall pour no oil upon it,
nor put frankincense thereon;
for it is an offering of jealousy,
an offering of memorial,
bringing iniquity to remembrance.

Deuteronomy 25:19 Therefore it shall be,
when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest
from all thine enemies round about,
in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee
for an inheritance to possess it,
that thou shalt blot out
the remembrance of Amalek
from under heaven;
thou shalt not forget it.

Deuteronomy 32:26 I said, I would scatter them into corners,
I would make the remembrance of them
to cease from among men:
27.   Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy,
lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely,
and lest they should say,
Our hand is high,
and the LORD hath not done all this.

2 Samuel 18:18 Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken
and reared up for himself a pillar,
which is in the king’s dale:
for he said, I have no son
to keep my name in remembrance:
and he called the pillar after his own name:
and it is called unto this day, Absalom’s place.

1 Kings 17:18 And she said unto Elijah,
What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God?
art thou come unto me
to call my sin to remembrance,
and to slay my son?

Job 18:17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth,
and he shall have no name in the street.

Psalms 6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee:
in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

Psalms 30:4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his,
and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psalms 34:16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

Psalms 77:6 I call to remembrance my song in the night:
I commune with mine own heart:
and my spirit made diligent search.

Psalms 83:4 They have said, Come,
and let us cut them off from being a nation;
that the name of Israel may be
no more in remembrance.

Psalms 97:12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous;
and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psalms 102:12 But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever;
and thy remembrance unto all generations.

Psalms 112:6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever:
the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

Ecclesiastes 1:11 There is no remembrance of former things;
neither shall there be any remembrance of things
that are to come with those that shall come after.

Ecclesiastes 2:16 For there is no remembrance of the wise
more than of the fool for ever;
seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten.
And how dieth the wise man? as the fool.

Isaiah 26:8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O LORD, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee.

Isaiah 43:26 Put me in remembrance:
let us plead together: declare thou,
that thou mayest be justified.

Isaiah 57:8 Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance:
for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me,
and art gone up;
thou hast enlarged thy bed,
and made thee a covenant with them;
thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
