I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “sackcloth”.

Gen 37:34 And Jacob rent his clothes,
and put sackcloth upon his loins,
and mourned for his son many days.

2Sa 3:31 And David said to Joab,
and to all the people that were with him,
Rend your clothes,
and gird you with sackcloth,
and mourn before Abner.
And king David himself followed the bier.

2Sa 21:10 And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth,
and spread it for her upon the rock,
