I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “king…”.

Mat 1:6 And Jesse begat David the king;
and David the king begat Solomon of her
that had been the wife of Urias;

Mat 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea
in the days of Herod the king, behold,
there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

Mat 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews?
for we have seen his star in the east,
and are come to worship him.

Mat 2:3 When Herod the king had heard these things,
he was troubled,
and all Jerusalem with him.

Mat 2:9 When they had heard the king, they departed;
and, lo, the star,
which they saw in the east,
went before them,
till it came and stood over where the young child was.

Shall I crucify your King?

We have no king but Caesar.

and put it on the cross.
And the writing was,

Joh 19:21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate,
Write not, The King of the Jews;
but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
