I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of comfort.

Gen 5:29 And he called his name Noah, saying,
This same shall comfort us
concerning our work and toil of our hands,
because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

Gen 18:5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread,
and comfort ye your hearts;
after that ye shall pass on:
for therefore are ye come to your servant.
And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

Gen 24:67 And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent,
and took Rebekah,
and she became his wife; and he loved her:
and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.

Gen 27:42 And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah:

thy brother Esau, as touching thee,
