I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of grievous….

Gen 12:10 And there was a famine in the land:
and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there;
for the famine was grievous in the land.

Gen 18:20 And the LORD said,
Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great,
and because their sin is very grievous;

Gen 21:11 And the thing was very grievous
in Abraham’s sight because of his son.

Gen 21:12 And God said unto Abraham,
Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad,
and because of thy bondwoman;
in all that Sarah hath said unto thee,
