I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “Michal”.
1Sa 14:49 Now the sons of Saul were Jonathan,
and Ishui,
and Melchishua:
and the names of his two daughters were these;
the name of the firstborn Merab,
and the name of the younger Michal:
1Sa 18:20 And Michal Saul’s daughter loved David:
and they told Saul,
and the thing pleased him.
1Sa 18:27 Wherefore David arose and went,
he and his men,
and slew of the Philistines two hundred men;
and David brought their foreskins,
and they gave them in full tale to the king,
that he might be the king’s son in law.
And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.
1Sa 18:28 And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David,
and that Michal Saul’s daughter loved him.
1Sa 19:11 Saul also sent messengers unto David’s house,
to watch him,
and to slay him in the morning:
and Michal David’s wife told him, saying,
If thou save not thy life to night,
to morrow thou shalt be slain.
1Sa 19:12 So Michal let David down through a window:
and he went,
and fled,
and escaped.
1Sa 19:13 And Michal took an image,
and laid it in the bed,
and put a pillow of goats’ hair for his bolster,
and covered it with a cloth.
1Sa 19:17 And Saul said unto Michal,
Why hast thou deceived me so,
and sent away mine enemy, that he is escaped?
And Michal answered Saul,
He said unto me, Let me go;
why should I kill thee?
1Sa 25:44 But Saul had given Michal his daughter,
David’s wife, to Phalti the son of Laish,
which was of Gallim.
2Sa 3:13 And he said, Well; I will make a league with thee:
but one thing I require of thee, that is,
Thou shalt not see my face,
except thou first bring Michal Saul’s daughter,
when thou comest to see my face.
2Sa 3:14 And David sent messengers
to Ishbosheth Saul’s son, saying,
Deliver me my wife Michal,
which I espoused to me for an hundred foreskins of the Philistines.
2Sa 6:16 And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David,
Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window,
and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD;
and she despised him in her heart.
2Sa 6:20 Then David returned to bless his household.
And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David,
and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day,
who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants,
as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!
2Sa 6:21 And David said unto Michal,
It was before the LORD,
which chose me before thy father,
and before all his house,
to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel:
therefore will I play before the LORD.
2Sa 6:23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child
unto the day of her death.
2Sa 21:8 But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah,
whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth;
and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul,
whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:
1Ch 15:29 And it came to pass,
as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David,
that Michal the daughter of Saul looking out at a window
saw king David dancing and playing:
and she despised him in her heart.

David, brother, I’d like to know what your purpose is in these passages of Scripture. It’s a good thing, but what’s the reason for them? you don’t seem to give any commentary analysis of the passage in 1Sam.25:44 or in any of your other daily posts. The Lord increase your knowledge of the Word of God!
Dear brother, It is the extent of HATRED on David and the fear of loosing the position as the First King of Israel, Saul did the wickedness of breaking the Holy Matrimony by giving someone’s (David’s) wife to be married to Phalti . Later David restore his wife from the unlawful deed and Michal had no child through David. TODAY I have seen in INDIA in particularly in Christianity family peace is broken of the same reason. I was told that there are so many divorce applications were pending in the court, maximum amount, is from the so called Christians. Personally I had gone through …….. and some one advised me…….. then I asked my God and was given these verses.. Also study the attitude of Michal …. there is a great lesson. To day’s world is mostly falling in to this…… Personally, I had never explained to any one like this, but it is REVEALED to me…Most of my blogs from the Holy Bible is the answer to my tribulations and trials, which I endured/endure in my life.
Oh, ok, brother. Now I know. Thanks for telling me. Continue your good work to all the world!
