I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “rain”.

Gen 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth,
and every herb of the field before it grew:
for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth,
and there was not a man to till the ground.

Gen 7:4 For yet seven days,
and I will cause it to rain upon the earth
forty days and forty nights;
and every living substance that I have made
will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

Gen 7:12 And the rain was upon the earth
forty days and forty nights.

Gen 8:2 The fountains also of the deep
and the windows of heaven were stopped,
and the rain from heaven was restrained;

Exo 9:18 Behold, to morrow about this time
I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail,
such as hath not been in Egypt
since the foundation thereof even until now.

Exo 9:33 And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh,
and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD:
