‘firstborn’ ….. mentioned in the “Pentateuch” (KJV)


Sanctify unto me all the firstborn,
whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel,
both of man and of beast: it is mine. –Exo 13:2

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “firstborn”.

Gen 10:15 And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn,
and Heth,

Gen 19:31 And the firstborn said unto the younger,
Our father is old,
and there is not a man in the earth to come
in unto us after the manner of all the earth:

Gen 19:33 And they made their father
drink wine that night:
and the firstborn went in,
and lay with her father;
and he perceived not when she lay down,
nor when she arose.

Gen 19:34 And it came to pass on the morrow,
that the firstborn said unto the younger,
Behold, I lay yesternight with my father:

and all the firstborn of man
among thy children shalt thou redeem.

when Pharaoh would hardly let us go,
that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt,
both the firstborn of man,
and the firstborn of beast:
therefore I sacrifice to the LORD
all that openeth the matrix, being males;
but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.

Exo 22:29 Thou shalt not delay
to offer the first of thy ripe fruits,
and of thy liquors:
the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.

Exo 34:20 But the firstling of an ass
thou shalt redeem with a lamb:
and if thou redeem him not,

by the number of names,
from a month old and upward,
of those that were numbered of them,
were twenty and two thousand
two hundred and threescore and thirteen.

Num 3:45 Take the Levites
instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel,
and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle;
and the Levites shall be mine:
I am the LORD.

Num 3:46 And for those that are to be redeemed
of the two hundred and threescore
and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel,
which are more than the Levites;

Num 3:50 Of the firstborn of the children of Israel
took he the money;
a thousand three hundred and threescore
and five shekels,
after the shekel of the sanctuary:

Num 18:15 Every thing that openeth
the matrix in all flesh,
which they bring unto the LORD,
whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine:
nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem,
and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.

Num 33:4 For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn,
which the LORD had smitten among them:
upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.

Deu 21:15 If a man have two wives, one beloved,
and another hated,
and they have born him children,
both the beloved and the hated;
and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:

when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath,
that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn
before the son of the hated,
which is indeed the firstborn:

Deu 21:17 But he shall acknowledge
the son of the hated for the firstborn,
by giving him a double portion of all that he hath:
for he is the beginning of his strength;
the right of the firstborn is his.

Deu 25:6 And it shall be, that the firstborn
which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother
which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.
