I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “glad…”.

Isaiah 16:10 And gladness is taken away,
and joy out of the plentiful field;
and in the vineyards there shall be no singing,
neither shall there be shouting:
the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses;
I have made their vintage shouting to cease.

Isaiah 22:13 And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen,
and killing sheep, eating flesh,
and drinking wine:
let us eat and drink;
for to morrow we shall die.

Isaiah 25:9 And it shall be said in that day,
Lo, this is our God;
we have waited for him,
and he will save us: this is the LORD;
we have waited for him,
we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Isaiah 30:29 Ye shall have a song, as in the night
when a holy solemnity is kept;
and gladness of heart,
as when one goeth with a pipe to come
into the mountain of the LORD,
to the mighty One of Israel.

Isaiah 35:1 The wilderness and the solitary place
shall be glad for them;
and the desert shall rejoice,
and blossom as the rose.

and come to Zion with songs
and everlasting joy upon their heads:
they shall obtain joy and gladness,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Isaiah 39:2 And Hezekiah was glad of them,
and shewed them the house of his precious things,
the silver, and the gold,
and the spices,
and the precious ointment,
and all the house of his armour,
and all that was found in his treasures:
there was nothing in his house,
nor in all his dominion,
that Hezekiah shewed them not.

Isaiah 51:3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion:
he will comfort all her waste places;
and he will make her wilderness like Eden,
and her desert like the garden of the LORD;
joy and gladness shall be found therein,
thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

Isaiah 51:11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return,
and come with singing unto Zion;
and everlasting joy shall be upon their head:
they shall obtain gladness and joy;
and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

for ever in that which I create:
for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing,
