I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “lift up”.

Gen 7:17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth;
and the waters increased,
and bare up the ark,
and it was lift up above the earth.

Gen 13:14 And the LORD said unto Abram,
after that Lot was separated from him,
Lift up now thine eyes,
and look from the place where thou art northward,
and southward,
