I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “his righteousness”.

1Sa 26:23 The LORD render to every man
his righteousness and his faithfulness:
for the LORD delivered thee into my hand to day,
but I would not stretch forth mine hand
against the LORD’S anointed.

1Ki 8:32 Then hear thou in heaven,
and do,
and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked,
to bring his way upon his head;
and justifying the righteous,
to give him according to his righteousness.

2Ch 6:23 Then hear thou from heaven,
and do,
and judge thy servants, by requiting the wicked,
by recompensing his way upon his own head;
and by justifying the righteous,
by giving him according to his righteousness.

Job 33:26 He shall pray unto God,
and he will be favourable unto him:
and he shall see his face with joy:
for he will render unto man his righteousness.

Psa 7:17 I will praise the LORD
according to his righteousness:
