I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “his works”.

1Sa 19:4 And Jonathan spake good of David unto Saul his father,
and said unto him, Let not the king
sin against his servant,
against David;
because he hath not sinned against thee,
and because his works have been
to thee-ward very good:

2Ch 32:30 This same Hezekiah also stopped
the upper watercourse of Gihon,
and brought it straight down
to the west side of the city of David.
And Hezekiah prospered in all his works.

Psa 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right;
and all his works are done in truth.

Psa 78:11 And forgat his works,
and his wonders that he had shewed them.

Psa 103:22 Bless the LORD,
all his works in all places of his dominion:
bless the LORD, O my soul.

Psa 104:31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever:
the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

Psa 106:13 They soon forgat his works;
they waited not for his counsel:

Psa 107:22 And let them sacrifice
the sacrifices of thanksgiving,
and declare his works with rejoicing.

Psa 111:6 He hath shewed his people
the power of his works,
that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

Psa 145:9 The LORD is good to all:
and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Psa 145:17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works.

Pro 8:22 The LORD possessed me
in the beginning of his way,
before his works of old.

Pro 24:12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not;
doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it?
and he that keepeth thy soul,
doth not he know it?
and shall not he render
to every man according to his works?

Dan 9:14 Therefore hath the LORD
watched upon the evil,
and brought it upon us:
for the LORD our God is righteous
in all his works which he doeth:
for we obeyed not his voice.

Mat 16:27 For the Son of man shall come
in the glory of his Father with his angels;
and then he shall reward
every man according to his works.

Act 15:18 Known unto God are all his works
from the beginning of the world.

2Ti 4:14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil:
the Lord reward him according to his works:

Heb 4:4 For he spake in a certain place
of the seventh day on this wise,
and God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

Jam 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works,
and by works was faith made perfect?

Jam 3:13 Who is a wise man
and endued with knowledge among you?
let him shew out of a good conversation
his works with meekness of wisdom.
