I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “give us”.

Gen 47:15 And when money failed in the land of Egypt,
and in the land of Canaan,
all the Egyptians came unto Joseph,
and said, Give us bread:
for why should we die in thy presence?
for the money faileth.

Exo 10:25 And Moses said,
Thou must give us also sacrifices
and burnt offerings,
that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.

Exo 17:2 Wherefore the people did chide with Moses,
and said, Give us water that we may drink.
And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me?
wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?

Num 11:4 And the mixt multitude
that was among them fell a lusting:
