I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Terrible”.

before all thy people I will do marvels,
such as have not been done in all the earth,
nor in any nation:
and all the people among which
thou art shall see the work of the LORD:
for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.

Deu 1:19 And when we departed from Horeb,

from the nations and their gods?
