‘Than for’ ….. mentioned in the Holy Bible (KJV)

For it is easier for a camel
to go through a needle’s eye,
than for a rich man to enter into
the kingdom of God. – Luk 18:25

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Than for”.

Job 3:20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery,
and life unto the bitter in soul;

Job 3:21 Which long for death,
but it cometh not;
and dig for it more than for hid treasures;

Job 3:22 Which rejoice exceedingly,
and are glad, when they can find the grave?

Ecc 7:5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise,
than for a man to hear the song of fools.

Mat 10:15 Verily I say unto you,
It shall be more tolerable
for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha
in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Mat 11:22 But I say unto you,
It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon
at the day of judgment,
than for you.

Mat 11:24 But I say unto you,
That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom
in the day of judgment,
than for thee.

Mat 19:24 And again I say unto you,
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle,
than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Mar 6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you,
nor hear you,
when ye depart thence,
shake off the dust under your feet
for a testimony against them.
Verily I say unto you,
It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha
in the day of judgment,
than for that city.

Mar 10:25 It is easier for a camel
to go through the eye of a needle,
than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Luk 10:12 But I say unto you,
that it shall be more tolerable
in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

Luk 10:14 But it shall be more tolerable
for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment,
than for you.

Luk 18:25 For it is easier for a camel
to go through a needle’s eye,
than for a rich man to enter into
the kingdom of God.

1Pe 3:17 For it is better,
if the will of God be so,
that ye suffer for well doing,
than for evil doing.
