I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ come short…ly”.

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God;

Phi 2:24 But I trust in the Lord
that I also myself shall come shortly.

2Ti 4:9 Do thy diligence
to come shortly unto me:

Heb 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest,
a promise being left us of entering into his rest,
any of you should seem to come short of it.

Heb 13:23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty;
with whom, if he come shortly,
I will see you.
