I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “destroy”.

Isa 3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors,
and women rule over them.
O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err,
and destroy the way of thy paths.

Isa 9:16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err;
and they that are led of them are destroyed.

Isa 10:7 Howbeit he meaneth not so,
neither doth his heart think so;
but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.

Isa 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day,
that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder,
and his yoke from off thy neck,
and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain:
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD,
as the waters cover the sea.

Isa 11:15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea;
and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river,
and shall smite it in the seven streams,
and make men go over dryshod.

Isa 13:5 They come from a far country,
from the end of heaven, even the LORD,

to destroy the whole land.

Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh,
cruel both with wrath and fierce anger,
to lay the land desolate:
and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Isa 14:17 That made the world as a wilderness,
and destroyed the cities thereof;
that opened not the house of his prisoners?

Isa 14:20 Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial,
because thou hast destroyed thy land,
and slain thy people:
the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

Isa 19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof;

Isa 36:10 And am I now come up
without the LORD against this land to destroy it?
the LORD said unto me,
Go up against this land,

to all lands by destroying them utterly;
and shalt thou be delivered?

Isa 37:19 And have cast their gods into the fire:

As the new wine is found in the cluster,
and one saith, Destroy it not;

so will I do for my servants’ sakes,
that I may not destroy them all.

Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,
and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock:
and dust shall be the serpent’s meat.
They shall not hurt nor destroy
in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations
and over the kingdoms,
to root out,
and to pull down,

since they return not from their ways.

Jer 17:18 Let them be confounded that persecute me,
but let not me be confounded:
let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed:
bring upon them the day of evil,
and destroy them with double destruction.

Jer 18:7 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation,
and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up,
and to pull down,
and to destroy it;

Jer 22:7 And I will prepare destroyers against thee,
every one with his weapons:
and they shall cut down thy choice cedars,
and cast them into the fire.

Jer 22:20 Go up to Lebanon,
and cry;
and lift up thy voice in Bashan,

the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

Jer 31:28 And it shall come to pass,
that like as I have watched over them,
to pluck up,
and to break down,
and to throw down,
and to destroy,
and to afflict;
so will I watch over them, to build,
and to plant, saith the LORD.

Jer 36:29 And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim
king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD;
Thou hast burned this roll,
saying, Why hast thou written therein,
saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come
and destroy this land,
and shall cause to cease
from thence man and beast?

Jer 46:8 Egypt riseth up like a flood,
and his waters are moved like the rivers;
and he saith, I will go up,
and will cover the earth;
I will destroy the city
and the inhabitants thereof.

Jer 48:4 Moab is destroyed;
her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.

Jer 48:8 And the spoiler shall come upon every city,
and no city shall escape:
the valley also shall perish,
and the plain shall be destroyed,
as the LORD hath spoken.

Jer 48:18 Thou daughter that dost inhabit Dibon,
come down from thy glory,
and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall come upon thee,
and he shall destroy thy strong holds.

Jer 48:42 And Moab shall be destroyed
from being a people,
because he hath magnified himself against the LORD.

Jer 49:9 If grapegatherers come to thee,
would they not leave some gleaning grapes?
if thieves by night,
they will destroy till they have enough.

Jer 49:38 And I will set my throne in Elam,
and will destroy from thence the king
and the princes, saith the LORD.

Jer 50:11 Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced,
O ye destroyers of mine heritage,
because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass,
and bellow as bulls;

Jer 50:21 Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it,

let nothing of her be left.

Jer 51:1 Thus saith the LORD;
Behold, I will raise up against Babylon,
and against them that dwell in the midst of them
that rise up against me,
a destroying wind;

Jer 51:3 Against him that bendeth
let the archer bend his bow,
and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine:
and spare ye not her young men;
destroy ye utterly all her host.

Jer 51:8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed:
howl for her; take balm for her pain,
if so be she may be healed.

Jer 51:11 Make bright the arrows; gather the shields:
the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes:
for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it;
because it is the vengeance of the LORD,

and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

Jer 51:25 Behold, I am against thee,
O destroying mountain, saith the LORD,

and will make thee a burnt mountain.

Jer 51:55 Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon,
and destroyed out of her the great voice;
when her waves do roar like great waters,
a noise of their voice is uttered:

Lam 2:5 The Lord was as an enemy:
he hath swallowed up Israel,
he hath swallowed up all her palaces:
he hath destroyed his strong holds,
and hath increased in the daughter of Judah
mourning and lamentation.

Lam 2:6 And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle,
as if it were of a garden:
he hath destroyed his places of the assembly:
the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts

and hath despised in the indignation of his anger

the wall of the daughter of Zion:
he hath stretched out a line,
he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying:
therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament;
they languished together.

Lam 2:9 Her gates are sunk into the ground;
he hath destroyed and broken her bars:
her king and her princes are among the Gentiles:
the law is no more;
her prophets also find no vision from the LORD.

Lam 3:66 Persecute and destroy them in anger
from under the heavens of the LORD.

Eze 5:16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine,
which shall be for their destruction,
and which I will send to destroy you:
and I will increase the famine upon you,
and will break your staff of bread:

Eze 6:3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel,
hear the word of the Lord GOD;
Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains,
and to the hills, to the rivers,
and to the valleys;
Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you,
and I will destroy your high places.

Eze 9:1 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice,
saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near,
even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

Eze 9:8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them,
and I was left, that I fell upon my face,
and cried,
and said, Ah Lord GOD!
wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel
in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?

Eze 14:9 And if the prophet be deceived
when he hath spoken a thing,
I the LORD have deceived that prophet,
and I will stretch out my hand upon him,
and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

Eze 20:17 Nevertheless mine eye spared them
from destroying them,
neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.

Eze 21:31 And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee,
I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath,
and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men,

and make a prey of thy merchandise:
and they shall break down thy walls,

and say to thee, How art thou destroyed,
that wast inhabited of seafaring men,
the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea,
she and her inhabitants,
which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!

Eze 27:32 And in their wailing
they shall take up a lamentation for thee,
and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus,
like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?

Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise
they have filled the midst of thee with violence,
and thou hast sinned:
therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:
and I will destroy thee,
O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 30:8 And they shall know that I am the LORD,
when I have set a fire in Egypt,
and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.

Eze 30:11 He and his people with him,
the terrible of the nations,
shall be brought to destroy the land:
and they shall draw their swords against Egypt,
and fill the land with the slain.

Eze 30:13 Thus saith the Lord GOD;
I will also destroy the idols,
and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph;
and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt:
and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.

Eze 32:12 By the swords of the mighty
will I cause thy multitude to fall,
the terrible of the nations, all of them:
and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt,
and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.

Eze 32:13 I will destroy also all the beasts thereof
from beside the great waters;
neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more,
nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.

Eze 34:16 I will seek that which was lost,
and bring again that which was driven away,
and will bind up that which was broken,
and will strengthen that which was sick:
but I will destroy the fat and the strong;
I will feed them with judgment.

Eze 43:3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw,
even according to the vision that I saw
when I came to destroy the city:
and the visions were like the vision
that I saw by the river Chebar;
and I fell upon my face.
