I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ celebrate”.

Lev 23:32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest,
and ye shall afflict your souls:
in the ninth day of the month at even,
from even unto even,
shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

Lev 23:41 And ye shall keep it
a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year.
It shall be a statute for ever in your generations:
ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

Isa 38:18 For the grave cannot praise thee,
death can not celebrate thee:
they that go down into the pit
cannot hope for thy truth.
