I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “fire”.

Isa 1:7 Your country is desolate,
your cities are burned with fire:
your land, strangers devour it in your presence,
and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

Isa 4:5 And the LORD will create upon
every dwelling place of mount Zion,
and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day,
and the shining of a flaming fire by night:
for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

Isa 5:24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble,
and the flame consumeth the chaff,
so their root shall be as rottenness,
and their blossom shall go up as dust:
because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts,
and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Isa 7:4 And say unto him, Take heed,
and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted
for the two tails of these smoking firebrands,
for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria,
and of the son of Remaliah.

Isa 9:5 For every battle of the warrior is
with confused noise,
and garments rolled in blood;
but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

Isa 9:18 For wickedness burneth as the fire:
it shall devour the briers and thorns,
and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest,
and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.

Isa 9:19 Through the wrath of the LORD
of hosts is the land darkened,
and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire:
no man shall spare his brother.

Isa 10:16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts,
send among his fat ones leanness;
and under his glory he shall kindle
a burning like the burning of a fire.

Isa 10:17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire,
and his Holy One for a flame:
and it shall burn and devour his thorns
and his briers in one day;

as the breaking of the potters’ vessel

a sherd to take fire from the hearth,
or to take water withal out of the pit.

Isa 30:27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far,
burning with his anger,
and the burden thereof is heavy:
his lips are full of indignation,
and his tongue as a devouring fire:

Isa 30:30 And the LORD shall cause
his glorious voice to be heard,
and shall shew the lighting down of his arm,
with the indignation of his anger,
and with the flame of a devouring fire,
with scattering,
and tempest,
and hailstones.

Isa 30:33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea,
for the king it is prepared;
he hath made it deep and large:
the pile thereof is fire and much wood;
the breath of the LORD,
like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

Isa 31:9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear,
and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign,
saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion,
and his furnace in Jerusalem.

Isa 33:11 Ye shall conceive chaff,
ye shall bring forth stubble:
your breath, as fire, shall devour you.

Isa 33:12 And the people shall be as the burnings of lime:
as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.

Isa 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid;
fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites.
Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire?
who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

Isa 37:19 And have cast their gods into the fire:
for they were no gods,
but the work of men’s hands,

therefore they have destroyed them.

Isa 42:25 Therefore he hath poured upon him
the fury of his anger,
and the strength of battle:

Isa 64:11 Our holy and our beautiful house,

is burned up with fire:

These are a smoke in my nose,

behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire,
and this people wood,
and it shall devour them.

Jer 6:1 O ye children of Benjamin,
gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem,
and blow the trumpet in Tekoa,
and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem:
for evil appeareth out of the north,
and great destruction.

Jer 6:29 The bellows are burned,
the lead is consumed of the fire;
the founder melteth in vain:
for the wicked are not plucked away.

Jer 7:18 The children gather wood,
and the fathers kindle the fire,
and the women knead their dough,
to make cakes to the queen of heaven,
and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods,
that they may provoke me to anger.

Jer 7:31 And they have built the high places of Tophet,
which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom,
to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire;
which I commanded them not,

A green olive tree, fair,

he hath kindled fire upon it,

then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof,
and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem,
and it shall not be quenched.

to burn their sons with fire
for burnt offerings unto Baal,
which I commanded not,
nor spake it,
neither came it into my mind:

Jer 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him,
nor speak any more in his name.

Jer 21:10 For I have set my face against this city for evil,

Execute judgment in the morning,
and deliver him that is spoiled

and I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof,

Jer 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD;
and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon,
saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab,
whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire;

Jer 32:29 And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city,
shall come and set fire on this city,
and burn it with the houses,
upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal,
and poured out drink offerings unto other gods,
to provoke me to anger.

Jer 32:35 And they built the high places of Baal,
which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom,
to cause their sons and their daughters
to pass through the fire unto Molech;
which I commanded them not,
neither came it into my mind,
that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

Jer 34:2 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel;
Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah,
and tell him, Thus saith the LORD;
Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon,
and he shall burn it with fire:

Jer 34:22 Behold, I will command, saith the LORD,
and cause them to return to this city;
and they shall fight against it,
and take it,
and burn it with fire:
and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation
without an inhabitant.

Jer 36:22 Now the king sat in the winterhouse
in the ninth month:
and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him.

Jer 36:23 And it came to pass,
that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves,
he cut it with the penknife,
and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth,
until all the roll was consumed in the fire
that was on the hearth.

Jer 36:32 Then took Jeremiah another roll,
and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah;
who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah
all the words of the book
which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire:
and there were added besides unto them many like words.

and fight against this city,

and burn it with fire.

the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you,
and there remained but wounded men among them,

If thou wilt assuredly go forth
unto the king of Babylon’s princes,

to the king of Babylon’s princes,
then shall this city be given into the hand of the Chaldeans,
and they shall burn it with fire,
and thou shalt not escape out of their hand.

and thy children to the Chaldeans:
and thou shalt not escape out of their hand,
but shalt be taken by the hand of the king of Babylon:
and thou shalt cause this city to be burned with fire.

Jer 39:8 And the Chaldeans burned the king’s house,

and brake down the walls of Jerusalem.

Jer 43:12 And I will kindle a fire
in the houses of the gods of Egypt;
and he shall burn them,
and carry them away captives:
and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt,
as a shepherd putteth on his garment;
and he shall go forth from thence in peace.

Jer 43:13 He shall break also the images of Bethshemesh,
that is in the land of Egypt;
and the houses of the gods
of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire.

Jer 48:45 They that fled stood
under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force:
but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon,
and a flame from the midst of Sihon,
and shall devour the corner of Moab,
and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.

Jer 49:2 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD,
that I will cause an alarm of war
to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites;
and it shall be a desolate heap,
and her daughters shall be burned with fire:
then shall Israel be heir unto them
that were his heirs, saith the LORD.

Jer 49:27 And I will kindle a fire i
n the wall of Damascus,
and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.

Lam 1:13 From above hath he sent fire into my bones,
and it prevaileth against them:
he hath spread a net for my feet,
he hath turned me back:
he hath made me desolate and faint all the day.

Lam 2:3 He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel:
he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy,
and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire,
which devoureth round about.

Lam 2:4 He hath bent his bow like an enemy:
he stood with his right hand as an adversary,
and slew all that were pleasant to the eye
in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion:
he poured out his fury like fire.

Lam 4:11 The LORD hath accomplished his fury;
he hath poured out his fierce anger,
and hath kindled a fire in Zion,
and it hath devoured the foundations thereof.
