I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “perish”.

Genesis 41:36 And that food shall be for store to the land against
the seven years of famine,
which shall be in the land of Egypt;
that the land perish not through the famine.

Exodus 19:21 And the LORD said unto Moses,
Go down, charge the people,
lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze,
and many of them perish.
