I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “is at hand”.

Deu 15:9 Beware that there be not a thought
in thy wicked heart,
saying, The seventh year,
the year of release, is at hand;
and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother,

and he cry unto the LORD against thee,
and it be sin unto thee.

and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time:
for the day of their calamity is at hand,
and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

for the day of the LORD is at hand;
it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

and saith unto them, Sleep on now,
and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand,
and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

he is at hand that doth betray me.

the day is at hand:
let us therefore cast off the works of darkness,
and let us put on the armour of light.

neither by spirit,
nor by word,
