I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “prevail…”.

Gen 7:18 And the waters prevailed,
and were increased greatly upon the earth;
and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

Gen 7:19 And the waters prevailed
exceedingly upon the earth;
and all the high hills,
that were under the whole heaven,
were covered.

Gen 7:20 Fifteen cubits upward
