I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of If ye .

Gen 24:49 And now if ye will deal kindly
and truly with my master, tell me:
and if not, tell me;
that I may turn to the right hand, or to the left.

Gen 34:15 But in this will we consent unto you:
If ye will be as we be,
that every male of you be circumcised;

and if ye will not lay it to heart,
to give glory unto my name,
saith the LORD of hosts,
I will even send a curse upon you,
and I will curse your blessings:
yea, I have cursed them already,
because ye do not lay it to heart.
