I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “the Lord of”.

Isa 1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant,
we should have been as Sodom,
and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

Isa 1:24 Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts,
the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries,
and avenge me of mine enemies:

Isa 2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be
upon every one that is proud and lofty,
and upon every one that is lifted up;
and he shall be brought low:

Isa 3:1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts,
doth take away from Jerusalem
and from Judah the stay and the staff,
the whole stay of bread,
and the whole stay of water,

Isa 5:7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel,
and the men of Judah his pleasant plant:
and he looked for judgment,
but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

Isa 5:9 In mine ears said the LORD of hosts,
Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair,
without inhabitant.

Isa 5:16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment,
and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

Isa 5:24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble,
and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness,
and their blossom shall go up as dust:
because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts,
and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Isa 6:3 And one cried unto another,
and said, Holy, holy, holy,
is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Isa 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me!
for I am undone;
because I am a man of unclean lips,
and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips:
for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Isa 8:13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself;
and let him be your fear,
and let him be your dread.

Isa 8:18 Behold, I and the children
whom the LORD hath given me are for
signs and for wonders in Israel
from the LORD of hosts,
which dwelleth in mount Zion.

Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government
and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David,
and upon his kingdom, to order it,
and to establish it with judgment
and with justice from henceforth even for ever.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Isa 9:13 For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them,
neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.

Isa 9:19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts
is the land darkened,
and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire:
no man shall spare his brother.

Isa 10:16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts,
send among his fat ones leanness;
and under his glory he shall kindle
a burning like the burning of a fire.

Isa 10:26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge
for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb:
and as his rod was upon the sea,
so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.

Isa 10:33 Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts,
shall lop the bough with terror:
and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down,
and the haughty shall be humbled.

Isa 13:4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains,
like as of a great people;
a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together:
the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

Isa 13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens,
and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts,
and in the day of his fierce anger.

Isa 14:22 For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts,
and cut off from Babylon the name,
and remnant,
and son,
and nephew, saith the LORD.

Isa 14:23 I will also make it a possession for the bittern,
and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.

Isa 14:24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

Isa 14:27 For the LORD of hosts hath purposed,
and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out,
and who shall turn it back?

Isa 17:3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim,
and the kingdom from Damascus,
and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.

Isa 18:7 In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled,
and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.

Isa 19:4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

Isa 19:12 Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now,
and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.

Isa 19:16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

Isa 19:17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

Isa 19:18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan,
and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

Isa 19:20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors,
and he shall send them a saviour,
and a great one,
and he shall deliver them.

Isa 19:25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people,
and Assyria the work of my hands,
and Israel mine inheritance.

Isa 21:10 O my threshing,
and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.

Isa 22:14 And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
Isa 22:25 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed,
and be cut down,
and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Isa 23:9 The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory,
and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.

Isa 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded,
and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion,
and in Jerusalem,
and before his ancients gloriously.

Isa 25:6 And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

Isa 28:5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory,
and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

Isa 28:29 This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in working.

Isa 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder,
and with earthquake,
and great noise, with storm and tempest,
and the flame of devouring fire.

Isa 31:4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion,
and for the hill thereof.

Isa 31:5 As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.

Isa 37:32 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant,
and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

Isa 39:5 Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD of hosts:

Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel,
and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first,
and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Isa 45:13 I have raised him up in righteousness,
and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city,
and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.

Isa 47:4 As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.

and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name.

Isa 51:15 But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.

Isa 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Jer 6:6 For thus hath the LORD of hosts said, Hew ye down trees,
and cast a mount against Jerusalem: this is the city to be visited; she is wholly oppression in the midst of her.

Jer 6:9 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets.

Jer 7:3 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings,
and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

Jer 7:21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices,
and eat flesh.

Jer 8:3 And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jer 9:7 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them,
and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?

Jer 9:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood,
and give them water of gall to drink.

Jer 9:17 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye,
and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come:

Jer 10:16 The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.

Jer 11:17 For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.

Jer 11:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:

Jer 11:22 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:

Jer 16:9 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes,
and in your days, the voice of mirth,
and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom,
and the voice of the bride.

Jer 19:3 And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah,
and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.

Jer 19:11 And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury.

Jer 19:15 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.

Jer 23:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood,
and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

Jer 23:16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart,
and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

Jer 23:36 And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

Jer 25:8 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words,

Jer 25:27 Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye,
and be drunken,
and spue,
and fall,
and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

Jer 25:28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.

Jer 25:29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name,
and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jer 25:32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation,
and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.

Jer 26:18 Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah,

and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a field,
and Jerusalem shall become heaps,
and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

Jer 27:4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;

Jer 27:18 But if they be prophets,
and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD,
and in the house of the king of Judah,
and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

Jer 27:19 For thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars,
and concerning the sea,
and concerning the bases,
and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city,

Jer 27:21 Yea, thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the LORD,
and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;

Jer 28:2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.

Jer 28:14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.

Jer 29:4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;

Jer 29:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.

Jer 29:16 Know that thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David,
and of all the people that dwelleth in this city,
and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;

Jer 29:17 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine,
and the pestilence,
and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

Jer 29:21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah,
and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes;

Jer 29:25 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem,
and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest,
and to all the priests, saying,

Jer 30:8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck,
and will burst thy bonds,
and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:

Jer 31:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice,

and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.
Jer 32:15 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.

Jer 32:18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands,
and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,

Jer 33:11 The voice of joy,
and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom,
and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

Jer 33:12 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast,

Jer 35:18 And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father,

and done according unto all that he hath commanded you:
Jer 35:19 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.

Jer 36:30 Therefore thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat,
and in the night to the frost.

Jer 39:16 Go and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil,
and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before thee.

Jer 42:15 And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt,
and go to sojourn there;

Jer 42:18 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration,

Jer 43:10 And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant,
and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.

Jer 44:2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem,
and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation,
and no man dwelleth therein,

Jer 44:11 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil,
and to cut off all Judah.

Jer 44:25 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths,
and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven,
and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows,
and surely perform your vows.

Jer 46:18 As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains,
and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.

Jer 46:25 The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No,
and Pharaoh,
and Egypt, with their gods,
and their kings; even Pharaoh,
and all them that trust in him:

Jer 48:1 Against Moab thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled: Kiriathaim is confounded and taken: Misgab is confounded and dismayed.

Jer 48:15 Moab is spoiled,
and gone up out of her cities,
and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Jer 49:7 Concerning Edom, thus saith the LORD of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?

Jer 49:26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets,
and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jer 49:35 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.

Jer 50:18 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.

Jer 50:33 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.

Jer 50:34 Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land,
and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

Jer 51:5 For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.

Jer 51:14 The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillers; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.

Jer 51:19 The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name.

Jer 51:33 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while,
and the time of her harvest shall come.

Jer 51:57 And I will make drunk her princes,
and her wise men, her captains,
and her rulers,
and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep,
and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Jer 51:58 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken,
and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain,
and the folk in the fire,
and they shall be weary.
