I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “righteous”.
Psa 1:5 Therefore the ungodly
shall not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
Psa 1:6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous:
but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Psa 5:12 For thou, LORD,
wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Psa 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end;
but establish the just:
for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
Psa 7:11 God judgeth the righteous,
and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Psa 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed,
what can the righteous do?
Psa 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous:
but the wicked and him
that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Psa 11:7 For the righteous
LORD loveth righteousness;
his countenance doth behold the upright.
Psa 14:5 There were they in great fear:
for God is in the generation of the righteous.
Psa 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean,
enduring for ever:
the judgments of the LORD are
true and righteous altogether.
Psa 31:18 Let the lying lips be put to silence;
which speak grievous things proudly
and contemptuously against the righteous.
Psa 32:11 Be glad in the LORD,
and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy,
all ye that are upright in heart.
Psa 33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous:
for praise is comely for the upright.
Psa 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry.
Psa 34:17 The righteous cry,
and the LORD heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
Psa 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
Psa 34:21 Evil shall slay the wicked:
and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
Psa 35:27 Let them shout for joy,
and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea,
let them say continually,
Let the LORD be magnified,
which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
Psa 37:16 A little that a righteous man hath
is better than the riches of many wicked.
Psa 37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken:
but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
Psa 37:21 The wicked borroweth,
and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy,
and giveth.
Psa 37:25 I have been young,
and now am old;
yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken,
nor his seed begging bread.

and dwell therein for ever.

and his tongue talketh of judgment.

he is their strength in the time of trouble.

and fear,
and shall laugh at him:
Psa 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD,
and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Psa 58:10 The righteous shall rejoice when
he seeth the vengeance:
he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
Psa 58:11 So that a man shall say,
Verily there is a reward for the righteous:
verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
Psa 64:10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD,
and shall trust in him;
and all the upright in heart shall glory.

yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

and not be written with the righteous.

so long as the moon endureth.
