they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

and thou hast heard of it,
and enquired diligently,
and, behold, it be true,
and the thing certain,
that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

which the LORD thy God giveth thee,
thou shalt not learn to do
after the abominations of those nations.

an abomination unto the LORD:
and because of these abominations the LORD thy God

which they have done unto their gods;

are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

from following the LORD, the God of their fathers.

2Ch 36:8 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim,

they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah:
and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.

2Ch 36:14 Moreover all the chief of the priests,
and the people, transgressed very much
after all the abominations of the heathen;
and polluted the house of the LORD
which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

Ezr 9:1 Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying,
The people of Israel,
and the priests,
and the Levites, have not separated themselves
from the people of the lands,
doing according to their abominations,
even of the Canaanites, the Hittites,
the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites,
the Moabites, the Egyptians,
and the Amorites.

Ezr 9:11 Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying,
The land, unto which ye go to possess it,
is an unclean land with the filthiness
of the people of the lands, with their abominations,
which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.

Ezr 9:14 Should we again break thy commandments,
and join in affinity with the people of these abominations?
wouldest not thou be angry with us
till thou hadst consumed us,
so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “abomination” from the Prophets of Old Testament.

Isa 1:13 Bring no more vain oblations;
incense is an abomination unto me;
the new moons and sabbaths,
the calling of assemblies,
I cannot away with;
it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

Isa 41:24 Behold, ye are of nothing,
and your work of nought:
an abomination is he that chooseth you.

Isa 44:19 And none considereth in his heart,
neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say,
I have burned part of it in the fire; yea,
also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof;
I have roasted flesh, and eaten it:
and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination?
shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

Isa 66:3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man;
he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck;
he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood;
he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol.
Yea, they have chosen their own ways,
and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Isa 66:17 They that sanctify themselves,
and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst,
eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination,
and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

Jer 2:7 And I brought you into a plentiful country,
to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof;
but when ye entered,
ye defiled my land,
and made mine heritage an abomination.

Jer 4:1 If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me:
and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight,
then shalt thou not remove.

Jer 6:15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay,
they were not at all ashamed,
neither could they blush:
therefore they shall fall among them that fall:
at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

Jer 7:10 And come and stand before me in this house,
which is called by my name,
and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

Jer 7:30 For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD:
they have set their abominations in the house
which is called by my name, to pollute it.

Jer 8:12 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination?
nay, they were not at all ashamed,
neither could they blush:
therefore shall they fall among them that fall:
in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

Jer 13:27 I have seen thine adulteries,
and thy neighings,
the lewdness of thy whoredom,
and thine abominations on the hills in the fields.
Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem!
wilt thou not be made clean?
when shall it once be?

Jer 32:34 But they set their abominations in the house,
which is called by my name, to defile it.

Jer 32:35 And they built the high places of Baal,
which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom,
to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech;
which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind,
that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

Jer 44:22 So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings,
and because of the abominations which ye have committed;
therefore is your land a desolation,
and an astonishment,
and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

Eze 5:9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done,
and whereunto I will not do any more the like,
because of all thine abominations.

Eze 5:11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely,
because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things,
and with all thine abominations,
therefore will I also diminish thee;
neither shall mine eye spare,
neither will I have any pity.

Eze 6:9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations
whither they shall be carried captives,
because I am broken with their whorish heart,
which hath departed from me,
and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols:
and they shall lothe themselves for the evils
which they have committed in all their abominations.

Eze 6:11 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand,
and stamp with thy foot,
and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel!
for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine,
and by the pestilence.

Eze 7:3 Now is the end come upon thee,
and I will send mine anger upon thee,
and will judge thee according to thy ways,
and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.

Eze 7:4 And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity:
but I will recompense thy ways upon thee,
and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee:
and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Eze 7:8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee,
and accomplish mine anger upon thee:
and I will judge thee according to thy ways,
and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.

Eze 7:9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity:
I will recompense thee according to thy ways and
thine abominations that are in the midst of thee;
and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.

Eze 7:20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty:
but they made the images of their abominations
and of their detestable things therein:
therefore have I set it far from them.

Eze 8:6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do?
even the great abominations
that the house of Israel committeth here,
that I should go far off from my sanctuary?
but turn thee yet again,
and thou shalt see greater abominations.

Eze 8:9 And he said unto me, Go in,
and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.

Eze 8:13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again,
and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.

Eze 8:15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man?
turn thee yet again,
and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

Eze 8:17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man?
Is it a light thing to the house of Judah
that they commit the abominations which they commit here?
for they have filled the land with violence,
and have returned to provoke me to anger:
and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city,
through the midst of Jerusalem,
and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men
that sigh and that cry for all the abominations
that be done in the midst thereof.

Eze 11:18 And they shall come thither,
and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof
and all the abominations thereof from thence.

Eze 11:21 But as for them whose heart walketh
after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations,
I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

Eze 12:16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine,
and from the pestilence; that they may declare
all their abominations among the heathen whither they come;
and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Eze 14:6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols;
and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

Eze 16:2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,

Eze 16:22 And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms
thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth,
when thou wast naked and bare,
and wast polluted in thy blood.

Eze 16:36 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out,
and thy nakedness discovered through
thy whoredoms with thy lovers,
and with all the idols of thy abominations,
and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;

Eze 16:43 Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth,
but hast fretted me in all these things; behold,
therefore I also will recompense
thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD:
and thou shalt not commit this
lewdness above all thine abominations.

Eze 16:47 Yet hast thou not walked after their ways,
nor done after their abominations:
but, as if that were a very little thing,
thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.

Eze 16:50 And they were haughty,
and committed abomination before me:
therefore I took them away as I saw good.

Eze 16:51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins;
but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they,
and hast justified thy sisters
in all thine abominations which thou hast done.

Eze 16:58 Thou hast borne thy lewdness
and thine abominations, saith the LORD.

Eze 18:12 Hath oppressed the poor and needy,
hath spoiled by violence,
hath not restored the pledge,
and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols,
hath committed abomination,

Eze 18:13 Hath given forth upon usury,
and hath taken increase:
shall he then live? he shall not live:
he hath done all these abominations;
he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.

Eze 18:24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness,
and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to
all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live?
All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned:
in his trespass that he hath trespassed,
and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

Eze 20:4 Wilt thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them?
cause them to know the abominations of their fathers:

Eze 20:7 Then said I unto them,
Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes,
and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt:
I am the LORD your God.

Eze 20:8 But they rebelled against me,
and would not hearken unto me:
they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes,
neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt:
then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them,
to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

Eze 20:30 Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers?
and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?

Eze 22:2 Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge,
wilt thou judge the bloody city?
yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.

Eze 22:11 And one hath committed abomination
with his neighbour’s wife;
and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law;
and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.

Eze 23:36 The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man,
wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah?
yea, declare unto them their abominations;

Eze 33:26 Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination,
and ye defile every one his neighbour’s wife:
and shall ye possess the land?

Eze 33:29 Then shall they know that I am the LORD,
when I have laid the land most desolate
because of all their abominations
which they have committed.

Eze 36:31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways,
and your doings that were not good,
and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight
for your iniquities and for your abominations.

Eze 43:8 In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds,
and their post by my posts,
and the wall between me and them,
they have even defiled my holy name
by their abominations that they have committed:
wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

Eze 44:6 And thou shalt say to the rebellious,
even to the house of Israel,
Thus saith the Lord GOD; O ye house of Israel,
let it suffice you of all your abominations,

Eze 44:7 In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart,
and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary,
to pollute it, even my house,
when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood,
and they have broken my covenant
because of all your abominations.

Eze 44:13 And they shall not come near unto me,
to do the office of a priest unto me,
nor to come near to any of my holy things,
in the most holy place:
but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations
which they have committed.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:
and in the midst of the week he shall cause
the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,
and for the overspreading of abominations
he shall make it desolate,
even until the consummation,
and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part,
and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength,
and shall take away the daily sacrifice,
and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away,
and the abomination that maketh desolate set up,
there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Hos 9:10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness;
I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time:
but they went to Baalpeor,
and separated themselves unto that shame;
and their abominations were according as they loved.

Zec 9:7 And I will take away his blood out of his mouth,
and his abominations from between his teeth:
but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God,
and he shall be as a governor in Judah,
and Ekron as a Jebusite.

Mal 2:11 Judah hath dealt treacherously,
and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem;
for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved,
and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

Evil of your doings . . . . . . / Speak Evil of you . . . . .

Clouds in my H50Sony

“By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens;
his hand hath formed the crooked serpent. ”
– Job 26:13

I am no preacher, but, am a sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read The Holy Bible, God gave me the following verses in the context of “Evil of your doings” and “Speak evil of you” from the Book of Life (The Holy Bible-King James Version).

Evil of your doings ……

Isa-1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

17. Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Jer-4:4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench  it, because of the evil of your doings.

Jer-21:12 O house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver  him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench  it, because of the evil of your doings.

Jer-23:2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

Jer-25:5 They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:

Jer-44:22 So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings,  and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

Speak Evil of you . . .

1Pe-4:4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with  them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of  you:

5. Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

1Pe-3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

Defile(th), Abomination Unto . . . and Lie.

I am no preacher, but, am a sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read The Holy Bible, God gave me the following verses in the context of “Defile(th), Abomination and Lie” from the Book of Life (The Holy Bible-kjv).

Defile(th)

(Meaning: befoul, cloud, corrupt, foul, gorge, maculate, stain, sully, taint, tarnish, . . . . . )

Exo-31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it  is holy unto you:
every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death:
for whosoever doeth  any work therein,
that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Num-19:13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead,
and purifieth not himself,
defileth the tabernacle of the LORD;
and that soul shall be cut off from Israel:
because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him,
he shall be unclean;
his uncleanness  is yet upon him.

Num-35:33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye  are:
for blood it defileth the land:
and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein,
but by the blood of him that shed it.

Mat-15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man;
but that which cometh out of the mouth,
this defileth a man.

18. But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart;
and they defile the man.

19. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders,
adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Mat-15:20 These are  the things which defile a man:
but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Mar-7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

21. For from within, out of the heart of men,
proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22. Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit,
lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23. All these evil things come from within,
and defile the man.

Jam-3:6 And the tongue  is a fire, a world of iniquity:
so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body,
and setteth on fire the course of nature;
and it is set on fire of hell.

Rev-21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth,

and lie unto his neighbour in that
which was delivered him to keep,
or in fellowship,
or in a thing taken away by violence,
or hath deceived his neighbour;

Lev-6:3. Or have found that which was lost,
and lieth concerning it,
and sweareth falsely;
in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away,
or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten,
or that which was delivered him to keep,
or the lost thing which he found,
