Phi 4:3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow,

Defile(th), Abomination Unto . . . and Lie.


I am no preacher, but, am a sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read The Holy Bible, God gave me the following verses in the context of “Defile(th), Abomination and Lie” from the Book of Life (The Holy Bible-kjv).

Defile(th)

(Meaning: befoul, cloud, corrupt, foul, gorge, maculate, stain, sully, taint, tarnish, . . . . . )

Exo-31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it  is holy unto you:
every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death:
for whosoever doeth  any work therein,
that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Num-19:13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead,
and purifieth not himself,
defileth the tabernacle of the LORD;
and that soul shall be cut off from Israel:
because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him,
he shall be unclean;
his uncleanness  is yet upon him.

Num-35:33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye  are:
for blood it defileth the land:
and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein,

(Meaning: abhorrence, detestation, execration, loathing, odum, . . . . )

for that  is an abomination unto the Egyptians.

or the price of a dog,

Pro-6:17. A proud look,
a lying tongue,)
and hands that shed innocent blood,
Pro-6:18. An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations,
feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Pro-6:19. A false witness  that speaketh lies,
and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Pro-15:9 The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD:
but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

Pro-20:23 Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD;
and a false balance is not good.

Isa-1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me;

Lie Unto

Lev-6:2 If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD,
and lie unto his neighbour in that
which was delivered him to keep,
or in fellowship,
or in a thing taken away by violence,
or hath deceived his neighbour;

Lev-6:3. Or have found that which was lost,
and lieth concerning it,
and sweareth falsely;
in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:
Lev-6:4. Then it shall be, because he hath sinned,
and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away,
or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten,
or that which was delivered him to keep,
or the lost thing which he found,
Lev-6:5. Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely;
he shall even restore it in the principal,
and shall add the fifth part more thereto,
and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth,
in the day of his trespass offering.

2Ki-4:16 And he said, About this season,
according to the time of life,
thou shalt embrace a son.
And she said, Nay, my lord,  thou man of God,
do not lie unto thine handmaid.

Psa-89:35 Once have I sworn by my holiness
that I will not lie unto David.

Jer-27:10 For they prophesy a lie unto you,
to remove you far from your land;
and that I should drive you out,
and ye should perish.

of the wicked, whose day is come,
when their iniquity  shall have an end.

Rom-3:7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded
through my lie unto his glory;
why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
