I am no preacher, but, am a sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” God gave me the following verses in the context of Lord God Repented from the Book of Life (The Holy Bible-King James Version).

           and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

Jer-26:19 Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death?
did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD,
and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them?
Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.

Amo-7:2. And it came to pass,  
         that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, 
         then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: 
         by whom shall Jacob arise? for he  is small.

Amo-7:3 The LORD repented for this:
It shall not be, saith the LORD.

Jon-3:8. But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, 
         and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, 
         and from the violence that  is in their hands. 
      9. Who can tell  if God will turn and repent, 
         and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
