‘our peace’ …from the Holy Bible (KJV)

But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.- Isa 53:5

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “our peace”.

Jos 22:27 But that it may be a witness between us, and you,
and our generations after us,
that we might do the service of the LORD
before him with our burnt offerings,
and with our sacrifices,
and with our peace offerings;
that your children may not say
to our children in time to come,
Ye have no part in the LORD.

2Ki 7:9 Then they said one to another,
We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings,
and we hold our peace:
if we tarry till the morning light,
some mischief will come upon us:
now therefore come,
that we may go and tell the king’s household.

Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.

Eph 2:14 For he is our peace,
who hath made both one,
and hath broken down
the middle wall of partition between us;

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity,
even the law of commandments contained in ordinances;
for to make in himself of twain one new man,
so making peace;
Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God
in one body by the cross,
having slain the enmity thereby:
Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you
which were afar off,
and to them that were nigh.
