“Own sake” … mentioned in the Holy Bible (KJV)

For mine own sake,
even for mine own sake,
will I do it:
for how should my name be polluted?
and I will not give my glory unto another. – Isa 48:11

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of 0wn sake.

2Ki 19:34 For I will defend this city,
to save it,
for mine Own sake,
and for my servant David’s sake.

2Ki 20:6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years;
and I will deliver thee
and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria;
and I will defend this city for mine own sake,
and for my servant David’s sake.

Isa 37:35 For I will defend this city
to save it for mine Own sake,
and for my servant David’s sake.

Isa 43:25 I, even I, am he that
blotteth out thy transgressions
for mine own sake,
and will not remember thy sins.

Isa 48:11 For mine own sake,
even for mine own sake,
will I do it:
for how should my name be polluted?
and I will not give my glory unto another.

Dan 9:19 O Lord, hear;
O Lord, forgive;
O Lord, hearken
and do;
defer not,
for thine own sake,
O my God:
for thy city
and thy people are called
by thy name.
